Like any vehicle there are a few things that you learn about it as you drive it more. I forgot to mention that the side sill gets rubbed getting out of the X6 which is starting to leave a scuff mark. Anyways, all minor things. The X6 is awesome. I do recommend getting on if you're in the market to pick one up!

Get front mud guards to prevent the body from getting hit with debris from the wheels or brakes!
I feel the same about the piano black - I had PPF installed on my G05 and they did the piano black interior pieces as well. Xpel has a kit for it - recommend it anytime.

For more HP you can try to find a tuning shop. I have the 2017 540IX and we're in the process purchasing the 2023 X6 both with the same B58 engine. They can produce a lot of power. I know I want to remove the limiter from my 540 but I also want to do the stage 2 tuning. Which will bring it to about 500hp w/o any mods. Just scared to do it.
My mazda did the same. I called it rail rust from the pads. Eventually it did stop doing it once the rotors and pads finally wore out a bit.
Thank you for your video , M pack looks good on your car because its white color but not good on dark colors with black grill with no contrast, that's why I did not want it on my customized order. For Piano dashboard layer, have you considered using a paper wood dashboard cover with different color ? I think I will try it on mine when I get it !
You are right, is better with carbon fiber. How much if you change now?????
but you can replace to carbon fiber aftermarket parts, easy.
i have X3 and the trunk not just closes with boom sound it is also pops with even louder sound, i think it is something with the lock might be the way to fix it with some car lubricant may be

I prefer open pore wood (matte) which never has fingerprints and rarely shows dust…plus it looks really nice! Nice car, though!
Had that in my wife’s X3 M40i and loved it. Matte look, and yes no fingerprints!

I want an X6 so bad, however I have to be able to put my German Shepherd’s crate in the back for road trips, and with that visibility and trunk space, looks like I’m going to have to find another car.

Spar wheel iron remover on your white paint and it will remove the iron particles when you presuure wash . Just dont let the product dry on the paint

Gv80 was not even close to X6 that we drove. It was so boring.

The close button for trunk on my x4 2021 is very quiet. On this x6 indeed it sounds kinda rough.
Hey, hope you’re well. I agree on a few of your quirks, etc. thankfully the cameras ameliorate the small rear window opening. On the brake dust and specks on the side of the car I didn’t have that issue because every time I washed my 2023 X6 I’d apply a topper to the paint and then the wheels. That dramatically helps with protecting the paint from UV rays as well as adding hydrophobic properties and slickness that prevents anything from risking to the paint. I use a pink one by Chemical Guys that smells like cherry. My new 2024 X6 is finally at the dealership in Mississippi I expect that it will be shipped to me in Florida within a week. I was satisfied with the 335 horses on our 2023 but I won’t argue with the 375 horses and mild hybrid system on the new one…..LOL. Take care. Cheers!

Almost forgot, on the last X6 we had the glossy fineline wood, similar to the black piano everything shows up, dust, scratches, etc. since I ordered the chocolate leather interior I decided to order the open pore fineline wood this time and I think it will make a significant difference. We’ll see.
Hey, your comment is so helpful. I’m getting the 2024 x6 but it hasn’t arrived yet. I’m not a car person. Other than what you mentioned, is there anything else I need to do or have to prevent having any issues with it?
It doesn't mater if you wash it, my Tesla Model Y is full of rust spots after the winter, it is because is white.
We just traded are 19 Porsche Cayenne s on BMW X6. Was a great vehicle just the maintenance cost is so bad and fear to not have it on warranty isa bad. Battery is like $5000.00 to change.

How is the suspension? Is it comfortable for an SUV?
Yeah it’s really good in comfort. And then if I want a stiffer ride Sport Mode is perfect.
I'm planning on buying an X6 and I was wondering if you ever "regret" or wished that you got a customized one instead? I'm assuming your x6 is a non full option and are there any options that you feel like you wish you had or feel like its a must?

You’re right this one was the floor model. If I ordered it myself I would have added carbon fiber trim interior, massage seats, leather dash but honestly it’s good the way it is. The only option that is a MUST for me is the M Sport package (wheels, exhaust, suspension, trims ext) Good luck with your purchase that’s awesome. 👍🏻

my 2024 X6 started having issues 10 days after delivery! Beware !
engine light, cars started shaking etc.
just get a matte film put on problem solved looks clean and stays clean

Yep every time I get out of the vehicle. My left leg rubs on the side sill. And the clear coat is a bit worn down. It can be buffed out though. Maybe it’s just me who does this. lol
@@cartherapy2.0 Thanks for the reply. At first. I thought you were referring to the compartment on the inside of the door. That lower open area. I thought your leg was always hitting that. But I believe you mean the thing on the outside of car that's designed to whisk water away from going inside the car. So you're jumping out to avoid hitting that and it's worn down some now. Is that accurate? I'm looking for pictures of a car door sill. Thank you!

I had 2 x6. (going to get another one.ok, no practicality at all in the x6, we all get them for two reasons. 1st reason is the look (hey im here) 2nd reason is the driving experience witch awesome. you forgot to mentioned few things that you don't like about the x6... what about when you getting out of the car is your pants always get dirty from the area that should be a "running boards" in suv ?
what about that 22" black wheels that ALWAYS GET AND LOOK DIRTY? I remember finding my self service my x6 w cleaning ..
what about the noise from those big 22" wheels when you driving?

so here is my final opinion about the x6 (any x6 include the M) you loosing the suv and the sedan driving experience. you are getting non of that. (still love that big boy)
Haha that’s true. My leg rubs against the paint every time I get out of the X6. BUT, I agree, the X6 is amazing to drive, especially on the highway! Appreciate your thoughts. 👍🏻
Maybe I don't need a sedan experience, being stuck in traffic in a sedan around NYC and sitting low is not that fun
X6 just doesn’t feel like a SUV. Which me and wife like since we have no kids at home anymore. Still fun. Had friends in the back going home after night out and they said it feel like a night club in the backseat with lights and moonroof light up. Cool vehicle. Goes and sounds fast enough. Best part 40i looks fast.
No bro. Pads determine the dust… do the Upgrade. If visibility is a concern go with the X5 like every other family guy. It sounds like you Needed a X 5.
In hindsight yeah the X5 visibility is a good choice. In the moment at the dealership the X6 looked so bad ass though. Hahaha
I’ve been car shopping and the trunk clunks on the ‘25 models of Bimmers is def there! Sounds so cheap 😭
