Riding in shorts and tee shirt 😂
Squids gonna squid ;)
I really don’t the point in this comment. If he wanna ride with no gear thats on him. Unless you’re his wife, mother or grandma trying to give him safe advice.
Whenever you recover from the purchase, get some gear ;)
Great video! I know it's been a rumor for a while, but I think Yamaha is eventually going to put sport fairings on their MT09 platform and call it an R9, ofcourse add a sports suspension too. That 890cc CP3 engine makes between 120-130 hp, so it will fill that gap the R6 left when they discontinued it.
Didn’t they release the R7 as the R6 replacement?
@@Jonesy781 hard to call the R7 a "replacement". They were both being sold at the same time for a few model years. But Yamaha didn't want to continue meeting new emission regulations on the R6, so they stopped selling it as a street legal bike. You can still buy it as a track only model today. The R6 made 115+ hp for decades and the R7 makes about 75 hp. The R7 is great but it is not the high-revving monster the R6 is/was. So Yamaha currently has a huge hole in their sport models. There is nothing between the 75hp R7 and the 200hp R1. That's why a 120ish hp R9 would be perfect. But that's just my opinion.
@@luissantiago847 I see your point but the MT09 doesn’t rev high either, if it did, it would have nearly the same horsepower as an R1. I think emissions will kill the 4 cylinder motorcycle soon, except for halo literbikes.
@@Jonesy781 But that's exactly why it would be a good idea to release a sport bike that makes the same power as an R6 without needing to rev high like the R6. That's where the CP3 engine makes sense. Make the same power without having to rev to the moon = easier to meet emission regs. Maybe it's wishful thinking on my part, but if you already have the engine and chassis then why not release the bike? Most of the research and development costs are done already at that point. Plus, it would put that bike right in line to compete with Kawasaki's ninja 636. Yeah, I get that it's not a high revving 4 cylinder engine, but it makes similar power and more torque. Making it a great middle ground between street and track use.
Great video bro.
Zx6r is a better choice if you wanna go fast. 4rr is BEST at the track. Plain and simple.
Why? The both do the speed limit.
Great video
The updated 2024 zx6r will make the price of the zx4 much more understandable lol. You know their gonna raise it quite a bit.
Maybe but the zx4rr could jump up too. who knows
@@AmotorBrealistically it shouldn’t, I get it’s upgraded but especially for the US market. They’re already getting slapped in the face with the emissions cut.
100% the new zx6r will be a fair bit higher, you cant add quickshift/autoblip, TFT screen etc without adding costs
I watched your video right through to the end and enjoyed it. I would love to see if you are going to flash it and stuff.
You seem like a cool guy, Man. Yeah. Insurance companies are a bloody rip off.
I think the flashing gauge is only for the break in period so you don't go above certain rpm
it is set by the rider actually.. on my zx25r i set it at 12000 rpm
Finally you guys have answered my question about that , I’m like why is this tachometer blinking like the H2 does . Found it very annoying. I just guessed this the other day and then was like that’s a great 💡. Makes you think 🤔 before you want to to not break it in properly . Break ins are so important, I don’t care what anyone says . It’ makes the bike last longer and performs better . Plus you only get one shot at doing it ,so do it right .
@emanuelmk24 I figured that out after the video. I didn't know it's the custume shift light. I knew my shift light was active. I just thought I never triggered it lol. Knowing that it's pretty awesome how you can customize it like that.
How tall are you? How do your arms and wrist feel after a long ride on this bike? Are the handlebars comfortable?
I'm 5'2"
I don't feel too bad depending on my riding position, which I change as I ride.
They are not as comfortable as a ninja 400 in the city, but they're great on the highway
May I ask how tall you are? coz u mentioned not being able to reach the zx6r. Nice vid.
They don't make sa R6 anymore coz of Euro5 compliance on the engine. They made the R7 as an effort to curb the Euro5 emissions compliance.
I'm 5'3"
@@AmotorB hey thanks for the reply. I am also 5'3" , so how does the zx4rr feel when u are stopped? does it get heavy?
@fynx_fynx No problem. It doesn't for me but if you don't balance it right it can
Correction on my height. I'm 5'2" my bad
Just for reference purposes! How tall are you, and how much do you weigh?
I'm 5'2" at 136lbs
You can get a lowering kit for $100 and even cheaper
That's not a good idea. It changes the arrow dynamics of the bike and the handling.
My insurance was 27 dollars a month cheaper then my MT07.
