I LOVE that the dub brought back Harley's original Brooklyn accent.
Why wouldn’t they? It’s one of the more iconic traits about her.

i still can't help but wonder if they will use that as a plot element at some point.
That said, I don't recognize any english VA's off hand, i'd need someone's help to point them out, though they are pretty good from what I can tell.
@2.greenskyy I think that's going to be a plot point. Harley might see what she needs to improve in her life from the princess and vice versa. Also maybe she'll reflect on her abuse from the joker if the princess I'd abused

It's nice that Joker and Harley's relationship is more a kin to the batman series.
You know the one where Kevin Micheal Richardson voiced the joker, and they actually loved each other.
Joker never loved harley
The English dub is good, but not using the beeping sound effect in Deadshot's sences where he swears is weird. And it's even have the visual censorship. Really feels like the case where translators didn't exactly watch the scene for context and just translated raw script.
Some lines feel off too, especially with Peacemaker, the English version mentioned too little about his "sacred duty"
I feel like they didn't even look at the script too well because there are so many places just in this where they're saying something either totally different or just plain the opposite of the subs.
@@corasundae I would get if it was trying to much lip flops but the og script already felt like it was written for western audiance in mind, so yeah, some changes really felt unnecesary.

To be fair they've had years to figure out what makes a good voice for these characters in English. It'd be surprising if the voices were bad
I like most of their English voices (I mean I love English dub most of the time) but like sometimes the voice direction is off in this one ya know ToT

Aside from Haley Queen, the dub voices are awful.

I knew it I knew he was going to make Suicide Squad Isekai videos when this came out and now we finally have audio to the English version of this anime and I can't wait to see if they get Tara Strong and John Cena for the English version I'm not going to watch theses videos until the series is completed
I doubt it since anime dubs tend to be non-union and both are members of their respective Actors Guilds. Even if they wanted to they'd have to say no.

I can see the “HBO” logo behind the “JP” and “ENG” signs. I just checked both (HBO) Max and Hulu, and they don’t have these episodes in English dub, so how did YOU find the English dub?

A day later, still can't find a cast list and the internet confirms _there is no cast list_ somehow. My current theory for Harley tho is Jamie Marchi because it sounds a lot like her Panty Anarchy with shades of her Junko Enoshima, plus like... the person who played those two is the world's most obvious dub VA for Harley Quinn.

Fans can make-out some actors like Luci Christian playing The Princess.
A lot of people are assuming that the Dub isn't available for The U.S yet cause their saving it for Toonami first. Whenever that airs.

Who are the English voices in the anime?
The JP voice actor for harley quinn is nagase anna. She is currently 19 years old. She made her break in summer time rendering and has since been a very promising upstart. I am glad shes doing this role well.
Joker on the other hand, I personally dont like the casting. Joker's voice actor is umehara yuuichirou. He is generally casted for and kills the more stoic type roles like goblin slayer and alhaitham from genshin. I think someone like miyano mamoru who is quite known for his psychopathic acting fits joker a lot more.
honestly, I don't mind it. Yuuichirou actually captures the "Younger", but still crazy voice of the Joker.
Meanwhile i want to watch this specifically because of umehara-san voicing joker. And it's because he rarely voices these kind of characters that makes me more curious.
I quickly picked up Anna's voice as Harley since I cannot forget her distinct voice and accent as Ushio. Summertime Rendering lives rent free in my mind.

It's not inconsistent, it's a blending of the two accent and speech styles harley versions are famous for. You've got the brooklyn speech style of the old shows, and the valley girl speech style of the new stuff. This is a mix of the two, with a more heavy lean on the brooklyn accent, and a more heavy lean on the valley girl speech style, but with mixing of the other parts as well
