That was one of the funniest uploads from Goodall’s I’ve ever watched. Had 😭 just watching how polite many of the people were eating and then Barry is devouring the food like he hasn’t eaten in a week. They’re all captivated by him like they’re looking at a zoo animal. Anyway, great review as always. It’s interesting how they blended a cajun theme with a Chicago theme. But if it works, so be it.
We had a great time.
This place used to be DECCA and it was a fabulous establishment as well. Beautiful place to hang out in NULU and they had live bands playing down in the speakeasy area as well as outside on the deck. My son was a prep cook for about a year there around 2018-19. Thanks for showing and I'll be coming to experience this little gem of the Ville.

BTW, I researched and the former owners of DECCA are the owners of new restaurant called DECADES (looks like fine dining cuisine) so NOT GOOD for a FAT man like ME LOL

Lou Lou's is pretty eclectic with both New Orleans and Chicago cuisine right there in Louisville. Have to agree with you on the whole milk mozzarella...I make my own pizza and will go out of my way to get it, part skim just doesn't have the milk fat to give it that pull or flavor. Thanks again Berry for your review, always appreciated.

Don’t know if you tried Jake and Elwood’s on Frankfort Ave before they shut down but they had the best deep dish that compared to Lou malnati’s

With some of those comments.....the wine was flowing pretty well...., turned left into Lou Lou off the naughty highway...LMAO. Pretty diverse menu, but looks like they pull it off...I looked the menu up, cost a few bucks but sure worth it...

lol!!! Yeah, I go fancy every now and then. I am aware of the Chicago thin pub style but there is also the Chicago deep dish with corn meal in the crust and sauce on top.
Deep dish is authentic Chicago-style, just as is the thin. The thin crust is just the basic, everyday pizza, though. You can get that anywhere.
