    My own home in Sydney, bought in 1996 for $350k with 1000 sq m land. Spend 150k in extension a few years later. Now the land value in the council rate is $2m, and if I sell it would be around 2.8m to 3m. Bought commercial property for around $350k in 2000 within my superannuation. It is now valued around 1.9m and collecting 100k rent each year. My passive income has exceeded my wage.
