Yess I feel like among the group Jal was pretty much the only one who seemed to actually care and worry for Cassie. Their friendship is so sweet. (And yes Jal is a underrated queen!!)

I feel like Sid was kind of stupid with the whole ordeal. If he had actually given Cassie a chance to explain, the whole thing with Michelle wouldn't have happened. Still, they're probably one of my favorite couples in the series.

To me personally I don't think Sid would have ever had a good relationship with either Cassie or Michelle. Sure, he went all the way to NYC for Cass but there relationship was very unhealthy for a lot of different reasons. I thought in Season 2 Sid and Michelle might work, but I realized she was a crush, a sort of fantasy to Sid. Neither relationship would've worked out good in the end so it was good to just go their separate ways.
Jal seemed to be only sane one yes she made a few mistakes but she really had a reality check like how to actually handle the problems she had

Rewatch the series and do more researching, Sid found Cassie, in Skins pure, she says she wasted her time with a boy. The creator of Skins said it was indeed Sid. Jal did abort the child, she confirmed it herself, like wtf, weren't you paying attention to the series? Is not a Soap Opera, like if you care, get your shits right, this is a deepshit to the core hardcore fanbase, I support you with the Panda and Tommo and Alo and Minie thing, everything else is right besides Katie and Franky, fuck them both!
Oliver Reyes it’s a kinda average series on a whole who some people just want to enjoy, not go crazy analysing and looking into everything, jesus I hate the skins fanbase, like sorry you’re angry not everyone’s obsessed with a bloated series that had a good 3 seasons.

Erghhh I think Cassie deserves better; she had her issues but she could actually be quite interesting, charming and clever. Sid literally had no redeeming qualities what so ever, don’t get me wrong Cassie had her issues but it made me sad she thought this was the best she could do

Wish people wouldn't demonise Sid. He may have played with her heart and head for a little while but her "intensity" for Sid was a bit warped. It's not his fault he didn't love her like she loved him, it's not his fault she tried to kill herself, it's not his fault that she can't handle life and has to find ways to cope....not eating, sleeping around etc
I like both Sid and cassie and remember watching this dries when it aired hoping they'd be happy but the truth is Sid will never be happy with her and she will never be happy with him

Cassie and Sid reminds me so much of me and a guy i really liked. He never gave a fuck about me, only getting inbertween another girls legs constantly, i was his best friend and he drove me to instantly . We both loved each other but he was to scared to settle and wanted to be one of the lads and shag everything, so ignored my feelings and only wanted to know when no one else was looking. He never made me feel good enough for him, i was always second best and constantly made me believe he cared, when he never really did.

Sid wasn't in love with Michelle, they knew each other since they were children. It was a childhood crush, he thought he loved her when really he just loved the idea of her. Tony and his games (whatever he was playing at) didn't help the situation either.

i know this is like a year too late but cassie's issue was no one put her as a priority. no one. her parents didn't. her friends didn't. and the person she really liked didn't. was it sid's fault? no. but sid was the tipping point for her.

Antonio i disagree with ur stance because you said it’s never other people’s fault if u try and kill urself. in this stance she killed herself after everyone continually let her down and made her feel like nothing. in this case yes she chose to do it but her peers pushed her to that point. in other cases tho some people are like legitimately bullied and told to kill themselves on the daily sometimes all day every day. and for that it is their fault if they make the hypothetical person kill themselves in my eyes tho we may disagree. but from experience of being in a similar head space that cassie was in that point and at that time you can’t really 'blame' anyone. cassie was completely mentally unstable. she was incapable of making thought out decisions. also her parents and friends never really gave her the attention for her to truly tell someone her feelings. so she broke and decided life was not worth living any longer. but you shouldn’t really blame people after an attempt but look at their tipping point, look at them, their mental state, etc. she just wanted to be loved and she felt she wasnt. idk focusing on who to blame seems stupid to me.

I feel like it's a closed minded thing to say that Cassie is annoying. Obviously she can be aggravating but thats the affects of a mental illness. She's so complex, manipulative and you can never quite figure her out. But she holds so much truth in her and she has the biggest heart out of all the gen 1 characters. At the end of the day she means well. It's obvious that Sid always loved Michelle more and Cassie deserved so much more.
