Great news guys! Honestly they're a great watch. Scenery is beautiful, the athletes are all interesting characters doing amazing things and the they're all competitive races with different runners taking the top steps. Are there any plans to do a multi day stage race similar to the lockdown year? Or do you think that was a one off?
@@ellismccoy There will be a stage race for the Golden Trail National Series that will take place in the Acores this season, with all the best runners of every GTNS competing, and the stage race format will come back to the world series next year.

Awesome , its incredible how the camera guy do his work!!! The trails are just stunning, i see like me and the nature comunnicating and how is a honor to trail like the ancestors run to war, right know is just the trail runner.

just curious, can the athletes run the course prior to the race? or only the major sponsored athletes of the golden trail series can pre run the course? or they can't run at it at all?
Im pretty sure atheletes can run the course before the race if they want to. It's outside and available to anyone. The question is, do you really want to run a "test" marathon before you actually run and how ealier in advance can you afford to travel and stay at the race location? Teams are also given the course information and then strategise according to it. In some videos of the trail series you see Salamon teams discussing how they should run in each segment of the race. Also, since they have the race every year, some atheletes might already know/remember the course or at least part of it.

Love these recaps & the series, they could easily be 30-60 minutes long with more running shorts.
They ran 30 minute recap shows during the 2019 season, with Philipp Reiter as one of the two hosts, they were very well done.

A lot of them will rece sections of the course that are most technical to find best lines etc.
