  • The lawn mower suspension system on Ferris riding mowers ensures a smooth, even mow thanks to the free floating mower deck handling any landscaping job!
The Ferris patented lawn mower suspension system allows each wheel to move up and down independently smoothing out uneven turf. The mower deck works in conjunction with the suspension system to provide a consistent cut. This system virtually eliminates shock to the chassis, resulting in superior operator comfort, increased mowing speeds, stability and extended mower life. My neighbor has just recently had an interest in ferris mowers which must be one of the top favorite lawn mower due to its suspension along with front and rear shocks which is a plus for anybody. When going over bumps you wouldn't even tell if you even seen that bump in the ground cause of its shock system which is almost like a brand new car. When I first took a test drive on his mower to cut his grass i thought of it as if it were my mower such as having a suspension technology which is above and beyond a highly functional equipment to have. I would definately recommend a ferris mower for anyone that's looking for a brand new mower even for myself as well.

That suspension works wonders. Had an Exmark and, like most mowers without a suspension, it rode like a goat cart. Quickly sold it and bought a used Ferris IS3000. My back and ass thanked me. The claim with the older Ferris models is the quality of cut. Though, I didn't see any real difference with between the Exmark with the famed ultracut deck and the Ferris. The new ICD Ferris deck is supposed to have an excellent cut.

The deck movement is secondary to the ride. No other mower on the market rides like a Ferris. Mow for four plus hours a day and ask your back.

I feel like bad boys 3 link suspension is a lot less moving parts and a bit cheaper but I mean I'm not complaining I still got a old Dixie chopper with no suspension but man is so simple I really don't mind

Have a Scag Cheetah, nothing, and I mean *nothing*, will out cut the Scag V+ deck.
    Goes faster, too.
    I like the Ferris, too.
I just think the Scag Cheetah works better for the grass we have.
