Colas Rail 70802 engine lift - Doncaster Camera 03/04/23

We often see things appearing out of Wabtec on our Doncaster camera, but this morning we have seen a first!
Wabtec Gronk 08853 dragged Colas Rail's 70802 out for an engine lift, undertaken by ARH Crane Hire.

shame really as Martin said the camera needed moving to the left we've missed the action 😟

Wonder why they took the engine out, for servicing or is it blown?

You dont take it out to service it. Its probably dead.
Should have kept the Sulzers . 👍😎
