So true! Part of why I'm more used to using a regular pen/pencil in a cheap sketchbook sometimes (cheap ballpoint pens are among some of my favorites as well as fineliners)!
the funny thing is, when you said that theres gonna be some random kid out there doing amazing animations and posting it on youtube....were not actually that far away from that. Maybe not pixar level but ive seen some really young artists out there with some high quality animations and its just mind blowing
I’ve had an iPad since they first came out and I’ve had several over the years. I absolutely adore mine and use it for almost everything - I rarely open my laptop these days. I’m not an artist but I’m having fun teaching myself to draw as a stress reliever - I’m 54 years old and have always believed I literally CAN’T draw and that I don’t have an artistic bone in my body. However, I survived a terminal cancer diagnosis 10 years ago (oesophageal cancer) after being given only 3 months to live. I had an experimental treatment and it worked. After surviving cancer I feel like I can do anything I set my mind to. I’ve always been envious of people who can draw but the more I learn the more I realise that it CAN be learned. While I may never be Rembrandt I can learn to draw cartoons well enough to make me happy. I’m a dog trainer and my eventual aim is to be able to draw cartoons to demonstrate training exercises for my clients. I also want to learn how to draw fun caricature cartoons. My iPad is so helpful with this new interest since I can undo mistakes and I’m not wasting paper and drawing tools - my mistakes are free! Thank you for creating such an amazing channel, I’m enjoying your videos tremendously and sincerely appreciate the time and effort you put into creating them. I have obviously subscribed and will follow closely. When our business picks up again I will 100% buy your drawing camp, it looks amazing! Many thanks for all you do to help people like me. 🙏

Just looking at you going for the things you want to achieve is so inspiring and it rekindled that spirit inside of me. I wish you the best in whatever you do! I am struggling with traditional art but I tried digital on a small screen phone and I gave up as soon as I started but I'll be the part of future soon (hopefully)😊😊..after buying an iPad
My broke mind right now... When is Kesh gonna conduct another drawing challenge which compells me to force myself to willingly participate in a not so easy challenge which totally unintentionally improves my art and also my sleep schedule resulting in me being more systematic and efficient in art and some specific phases of my life And finally fails being able to win the iPad or tablet but stays happy anyways by seeing my improvement and how much I worked for it. ( ╹▽╹ ) oh wait...

if u like the idea of drawing on a screen, why dont u check out wacom cintiq, its hella expensive, but its basically the i pad but more proffesional, also photoshop is much more powerful than procreate. But i get why u like the ipad, its so portable and convenient too as u said

Kesh I think that to get more viewers, you need to make a big project like the one you drew zhc I like your vids and wish to bring more people to your channel for them to learn
there is an art app called ibis paints and it is good on android but it has some hefty ads but except that it is good app to use on androids check that out mate
Blender on iPadOS would be cool, but as far I know theirs no official plans. I really which that iPadOS would get some apps, like VScode, blender, final cut and some more 3D apps in general

oh nooo ;) i really hoped that you say its not so good, because its sooo expensive. i actually am saving for one, but i always think, maybe until i can buy it it turnes out that it wasnt so good in the first place. i guess my hope is gone now. x) i actually like drawing on paper with pencils until then... and maybe i´m way better until i can actually buy it, ... with your course i can get there... ;) if i actually also make it and not just look at it from a distance, scared that i am the one, who will make no progress even with this course x) until next time, lovely greetings, and thank you for all of your content!!

I just transitioned into digital too recently and I would say I think it’s a great decision to make. Although I’m far from making great art digitally I found that it’s a skill that helps my traditional work better. Like for example thumbnails have become easier and I’m able to test colors and layouts. So I think trying digital art would be a nice thing to try
So Kesh if I am a traditional artist rn, and I too want to shift and become an illustrator, would you recommend me to get an ipad first or try it on a laptop?

within 50 years , you just type story , and select the type of animation you want , and AI just creates that for you ..
