Frightened Rabbit has always held a special place in my heart. The honesty in the writing was always so admirable.
Scott Hutchinson was really honest about his depression and the things that affected him. We could hear it in the songs. Scott's passing deeply got to me last week. I had to examine my own bouts with depression, especially with the things i've been writing and the head space i've found myself in for the last 5 months.
This song has been pretty poignant. I'm grateful that there is a place for artists to honestly write what they are feeling. It is extremely saddening that such a phenomenal writer has left this world.
