I was 18 ,nearly 19 at the period.I couldnt see all the matches as we didnt have the cable at the period.
The only match I saw was the Final .
Is it possible to have some Full matches,the most interesting of course,not those with big victories against weak teams.
Id like to watch England v Fidji .
My favourite Teams :
England,France,Wales,Blacks,Boks and the Pumas were also strong.
The French had Dominici who made his glorious run and try against Blacks in Semi
England had a young Wilko who had a great future,Dallaglio,Johnson,Dawson,Luger,Grayson and Jerry Guscott who was at the end of his career.
Ireland with Keith Wood and a young nber 13 O'Driscoll .
The Blacks with the Legend Lomu,the Boks with the Dropper De Beer and the Wallabies with John Eales who took his Team to the Final and took the Cup to Sydney .

I think they mean that Wales were quite a weak side at the time despite being well supported.

John Taylor and Steve Smith . They were ITV’s main commentary team at that time. They also did the 2003 Final. Taylor was in the great Wales team in 70s.
