- 4500km test of #onewheelpint. Fully vertical review. 0 degrees Celsius, 80kg rider, 20 psi and an old pint. Let's see if it worth the buck!
1. **Durability and Longevity**: The Pint, with 4,500 km of usage, proved to be robust and reliable. It was durable enough to be passed on and used by a younger family member.
2. **Maintenance and Repairs**: The Pint required some maintenance, such as changing the bearings and the charging port. The user performed these repairs themselves with assistance from others.
3. **Battery Life and Performance**: Over time, the battery performance declined. The Pint has about 55% battery State-of-Health left after significant usage, indicating degraded cells. After storing it for 3 months at 70% the cells got unbalanced and the Pint only rode until 30% battery following the first assembly. However, after proper balancing (charging overnight), the board still performed adequately, albeit with reduced range.
4. **Weather Impact**: The board experienced issues like pin breakage in the charging port due to rainy weather and rust.
5. **Ride Experience and Modifications**: The Pint featured custom grip tapes and was described as having a less sensitive sensor, making trick performance challenging. The user also noted issues with low speed engagement and disengagement.
6. **Range and Power**: The range of the Pint decreased over time, and the user advises potential buyers to consider this. Despite this, the Pint still offered a satisfactory riding experience, even in cold weather.
7. **Safety and Reliability**: The Pint was commended for its safety features and consistent performance, even with a significantly used battery.
8. **Personal Experience and Recommendations**: The user shared their personal journey with the Pint, describing it as a great starter board. They also discussed considerations for new riders, such as range limitations and the desire to upgrade to a larger board in the future.

just started watching all the Onewheel CZcams channels a couple of months ago, and I was so stoked to get my hands on one. I found a used (like new) Pint X. It's like 2 years old and has 2 km life, so I was worried about the batteries. But this gives me more hope that I'll be able to enjoy my Pint X to its fullest. Thank you so much for your videos, cant wait to see a vesc gt.
Thx mate! I am glad it reliefed your concerns about your battery pack!
Definitely consider floatwheel for range and power. I'm very content with the Onewheel GT atm. Great range and lots of time to float on.
I had 6k on the GT and loved it until it kept working. Now it is waiting to be VESCed.
