WATCO/Ithaca Central Railroad ITHR101 Crawls Up Fulton Street Thru Downtown Ithaca • 02/19/2024

this train runs from Norfolk Southern's Sayre Yard to the Cargill Salt Mine in Lansing. it usually runs a few times a week but will run five days a week around this time because the local towns are using the salt on the roads. this is the former Lehigh Valley RR Ithaca and Auburn Branch, also NS' Ithaca Secondary. it is leased to WATCO for this shortline. northbound run is empty, southbound run is loaded with salt.
