Definitely stylus is a plus. Maybe everyone should consider compatibility with a stylus that is sold apart and can be placed together with the phone in cases. Then I think future steps for smartphones would be having built-in projectors.

I just wish Motorola would have gone with a slightly higher end processor with these new phones. When I think of the g series I think good battery life, decent display, and good balance between performance/processing power and cost. I just think they are coming up short with the later.
Yes I do. I had both the note 4 and note 7 but had to move out of samsung after the note 7 fiasco, and since then been wanting to go back to having a stylus but with less money to compromise so either this or note 10 lite is right up my alley.

The stylus does not have pressure sensitivity. At all. You can buy a phone, and a capactiative pen, and boom. You now have a moto g stylus. fuck motorola.
Question is the stylus passive (ie: just a finger tip on a stick / soft tiped) or is it active (like the s-pen or Wacom digitizer pens / hard tiped)? From the close-ups of the Moto G Stylus' stylus I have seen so far it looks like the the former. I would prefer an active stylus for its greater precision.
Currently using a Motorola One Zoom. All i can is Motorola has really improved their camera hardware and image quality. I'm pretty sure these new devices have decent cameras as well. Good job Moto!
I also have a LG Stylo 4+ with 16 MP camera and I can't tell that any difference between it and my Moto G7 Power's camera. The G7 Power's camera also has slow motion and timelapse and Apple is trying to say the iPhone 11 is the first to do so. I got my Moto in September and it the market last spring and the iPhone 11 recently came out?🤷🏾♂️
How's the screen brightness when you're out in the sun and does the speaker sound good? My current phone's screen can hardly be seen out in the sun 🙄 it's really inconvenient.
it should be, it's not tied to Verizon i believe so you're good but look into it most budget options aren't locked down to a carrier but still look into it to make sure
What I can't stand about this phone is that the status bar is HUGE!! It bothers me to the point that I don't even want this phone anymore! I've never owned a device with a hole-punch camera, so I had no idea about this.
I had a Galaxy Note 4 that I loved until it totally died at just under 3 years of use! I can accept losing functionality over time but a completely dead flagship phone in such a short period soured me on Samsung. The only alternative with a stylus was the LG Stylo line. I picked up the Stylo 4... It's ok. A bit laggy and the camera is underwhelming. I like the prospect of the Moto G Stylus. I see in the specs that it will not have NFC which is too bad because I really like using Google Pay.
If they make a moto one dual screen with these specs and at these price points I may jump ship from Samsung. Never understood why they don't make a moto mod for the z4 like that.
I just bought this phone. I'm having trouble finding a simple tutorial for learning the basics of use. The info on the phone itself isn't helping me enough. For example I want to understand better how to go from one activity to another without losing what I'm doing now. Everything I'm finding on youtube so far is just a review. I want more instruction. Seems like buying a brand new note 8 or spend 100 more for a note 9 makes way more sense. Either would outperform this by a mile and more features. Maybe camera is better here but just not convinced
