This cart is super nice, thanks for the video. Buy what you want and don't let the opinions of others discourage you. You work too hard to not give yourself a little luxury especially with the things that make you money. You keep working hard and you will be successful.

In videos the storm grey looks like it has a green or blue tint to me but on the truck sample cards it is just a plain dark grey. I wish it had a little tiny to it honestly.

It kind of does, in some lighting the grey does have a tint. But it could be the trim and top options that make it stand out as well, definitely something to take into consideration.

thanks for uploading this informative video. im thinking of downgrading my double bank master snap on with hutch for this lol i have a fairly large roll cart now and id like to get out of debt. so im assuming youve had it for atleast 3 months now. any update on your box, as far as regrets or upgrading?

Hey thanks for asking. I think that the majority of tools you need for the trade you can definitely fit in a epiq roll cab. As far as extension and pry bars over 32inches you would have to look for a add on of your likeing to attatch to the side panel of the box. The box can get really heavy and a little of a struggle to move around. When i do transmissions or clutches. I use the top of the box to hold the trans. Its a great box. It can hold a ton of weight. Its structured very well and very sturdy. No regrets so far. Ive owned the box for about 8 months now. Its been a great investment. With a box like this. And a roll around tray. Or a roll around work cart. And your ready to go. If you have any more questions or concerns. Let me know and i will do my best to help. Thanks

Was getting the rhino liner an option for you? Im about to get it but my snap on dealer says he can't do rhino liner on this toolbox.

Yess the rhino liner was a option when i purchased my box. Double check online at snap on's website, for part numbers. Snap on dealers are humans too.

Hey I'm a little late to the party but I noticed your comment. I currently have a 60" epiq that I might want to swap for an epiq cart just like this. Did you end up doing the trade, and was it hard to compact everything in there?
Great videos by the way @ryu13. I used to work at VW and seeing those tools with the related stories reminded me of good old times haha

I understand that you obviously purchased this box for a reason but why spend 4K on a box that grossly over priced for what it is and can potentially hold. I picked up a classic 96 new for 7K. Over my 15 years as a heavy duty mechanic I have been though a few boxes myself, but always upgrading the size to hold more tools. If I could go back in time I would have picked up the same box I have now, orange classic 96 with a locker and hutch. Over the years I have paid way more constantly upgrading verses just biting the bullet and purchasing one that I could have grown into.

Geoff Clark, whatsup I get where your coming from 100% I guess sometimes when were young and just starting out sometimes, we don't understand those things; and no one to guide in the best direction. Sometimes we don't always have the money to go for what we really want or like either. So with different scenarios in everyone's own life, we have to work with what we have and what we can get at the time. Best advise to anyone just starting out is to save as much as you can and pick up a used box on Craigslist.

My classic 96 had less usable room than a double bank krl1022. You Aren’t a HD mechanic with just upgrading to a classic. And you way over paid paying 7k for a shitty classic 96
