A highlight of the 2013 Dan Fogelberg Celebration Weekend was a performance by talented singer - guitarist Barry Cloyd. Barry's unique treatment of Dan Fogelberg's songs is always a treat.

I think Dan would be pleased someone is playing this almost-operatic song live. He was stung by some of the criticism of it, but always remained very, very proud of it. As he should have. (And every time I see a '60 Chevrolet this song starts playing in my head again...)

Windows and Walls got some mediocre reviews to which I disagreed. This song I feel was the best on the album. The lead guitar work was always moving you down the road with Tony. The orchestration was really good. Barry does a good job with just one guitar. It's a tough cover and yet he does a good job with it. The song is a strong arrangement piece and relies on the arrangements to get you from start to end. In other words you can really feel the build up of the song with the arrangement to the lyrics. One of Dan's well crafted songs. Barry does a good job with just one guitar. Where I come from: Ya did good son!
