Nah. Probably much worse. PAM8403 is a pretty decent amp. Its probably a 8002B amp. Those things are very bad and distorts very easily. Very common amp on many chinese speakers.
I've never seen anything that cheap... Given how incredibly quiet it is, along with the lack of volume control, that leads me to believe the speakers are actually powered by the PHONE, rather than an internal amp. There's an amp for the mics of course, but probably not for the line in. EDIT: I know it doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but the volume you're getting out of it seems to be what I'd expect from a line level signal from a phone. I've done it before.
@@apersonthingy So how then is the mic audio mixed with the line-in audio, if the line-in audio is just connected directly to the speaker? If in fact they just connected both sources to one speaker without a proper mixer circuit, this thing is a bigger POS than I thought.
The BL-5C is a battery used in some old Nokia phones. I actually have a little decent chinese radio called Mitian that use that model of battery (and also a little wireless keyboard that use te same battery).
That uses two little i/c's for amplifying, if I had to guess the ones behind the jacks because of how many resistors and capacitors are around them. You'd be lucky to be getting 1 watt out of it lol!
fun fact... about the battery... That battery belongs in most 1999-2010 nokia phones. Just without the nokia logo ofc. So not only is it a cellphone battery, its a knockoff of a cellphone battery.
if you get a speaker, connect it up to a input, and plug it into your computer, the only thing amplifying it is the computer volume, im assuming that is just a box with a battery speakers and inputs, that is why it is quiet (and cheap)
that type of battery can be found in old nokia phones haha no wonder use them as they got long battery life well so they say but that battery just some cheap generic shit ive also seen them used in cheap small wireless keyboards but i hate it when make things looks so flashy it makes ya thing ohh look at me kind of thing any pa speakers with lights in that flash are total garbage need to be burnt
The speaker is on the other side and it’s like the silver and black sub on the torre only smaller and it’s driven as a full range, there’s also a fabric mesh over the speaker, there’s a thin piece of MDF with a circle cut out in the middle for the speaker and the fabric is layer on top, corners folded over and glued to the other side, and then stuck in to the facia which the speaker is screwed into, just like in the little led party speaker you have and the psyc torre here’s the link to the intempo www.amazon.co.uk/Addcore-Infinity-Mirror-Bluetooth-Speaker-Black/dp/B07JN6M5J8
Love the "review" and destruction of that CHEAP speaker!!!!Lets see cardboard cabinet with contact paper covering-two cheap speakers that you would find in a table radio-and two tiny circuit boards. The phone jacks are the ONLY good things in here.Yes,you used a screwdriver to remove the speakers from the cheap cabinet with less ease than removing the screws! And to top things off you pulled the magnets off the speakers by hand!!!
Those BL-5C batteries are what you used to use for Nokia dumb phones and these are still used in many parts of the world like Africa and some of the poorer areas of Asia. In the west the BL-5C has found its niche in powering radios and other small household electronics.
The psyc torre has a built in fm radio and the micro usb charger like on yours, it also has an aux port, volume control, and bass intensity control, as well as a skip and seek button, or tuner if using radio, it also has a USB port on it it’s self so you can charge your phone on it, plus you can use the data part of the usb to play music from your phone like you can in a car
those bl5c battery's are very common in cheap phones, bluetooth speakers and other things, there cheap and you would be surprised a lot of things that use battery's (that are cheap) have the EXACT same batt
That one even has the plastic insert around the speaker to hide the ugly corner pieces just like on the psyc torre and yes the intempo and torre are Chinese too, and cheesy
If you haven't trademarked your meerkat design standing next to the monitor speaker and amp mixer you should and then put out apparel and merchandise with that logo I would actually be tempted to buy a shirt with that on it, cool stuff
Lol I think the speakers are kinda neat, mainly because they're white. But I did toss a red one that came with a fake second speaker and honestly the amp assembly was pretty close to that one. I do think that mic input thing might be worth keeping for a future project and I would had kept the speaker but honestly I do have like four of the same thing and other than using as a low powered woofer they sound like the finest garbagé XD
3:24 when it’s your first time playing in a concert XD😂😂😂💀
3:46 when you give up
Lol

0:51 Apparently the cat likes the warm amps on that rack haha.
I bet I could watch Garret's facial expressions for a whole day and not get bored.
Next week is going to be the day I found your channel 4 years ago
The amplifier seems to be in the board with the mic connector, it probably is a pam8403 (class D, 3+3w).
Nah. Probably much worse. PAM8403 is a pretty decent amp. Its probably a 8002B amp. Those things are very bad and distorts very easily. Very common amp on many chinese speakers.
Definitely class G (garbage) landfill technology.
Could have a rave with that
Noooo
Rhcnud
Hi
Yep a rave for ants
But its crappy
I've never seen anything that cheap...

Except that the echo function would require an amp to work...
@@brianleeper5737 As I said, the mics probably have an amp.
I thought the same, and he should've just connected an amp to the line in jack.
I was kind of thinking similar... you know the speakers in TVs are pretty loud, considering what's driving them.
@@apersonthingy So how then is the mic audio mixed with the line-in audio, if the line-in audio is just connected directly to the speaker? If in fact they just connected both sources to one speaker without a proper mixer circuit, this thing is a bigger POS than I thought.

That littearly sound like a train but it's high pitched and echoed.
The BL-5C is a battery used in some old Nokia phones.

0:50 Can I ask what the cat is doing?
being cute and naughty
Being a cat.
Molly has been helping him with his videos for years.
Maybe fixing stuff on the rack, I always wondered how he got repairs on his equipment.
> like, subscribe, dislike, it doesn't matter
I like that spirit. Not sure which one I'll go with yet. The video was entertaining, though, F.W.I.W.
4:14 subliminal image hehe
Its literally just a screenshot of him standing there
wonder why that happened lmfao weird
That uses two little i/c's for amplifying, if I had to guess the ones behind the jacks because of how many resistors and capacitors are around them. You'd be lucky to be getting 1 watt out of it lol!

Hey! It's 2:30 am in poland! Good thing i'm awake... Love your vids man keep it up! :)
You know it's sketchy when the buttons and labels are off-centered, when there's an awfully loud buzz and when the speakers sound like absolute crap.
3:24 I cant stop laughing!
fun fact... about the battery... That battery belongs in most 1999-2010 nokia phones. Just without the nokia logo ofc. So not only is it a cellphone battery, its a knockoff of a cellphone battery.

Fake nokia battery tho
gil zur Yeah definitely fake
Should play some mafia music to blow the speakers.
OMG!!IM SOO “HYPE-ED”!!
Always knew these things were junk, but this is so much worse than I imagined.

This amplifier with this speaker is so bad, class D 2* 3W rms 8ohm. Nice smashing!
I've seen a different type of the same one, it had a usb input and radio.
That battery is actually for old nokia phones :D
The battery is indeed a phone one used by Nokia in their whole 6000 series,Ngage, and one from the 7000 series
Yeah you can tell as he backs away the mic isn't even picking up the full spectrum of the sound it's so quiet
The reason you can't find the amp on it is because it's so wimpy it don't even need a heatsink the amplification comes from a couple of transistors
5:24 THATS WHAT SHE SAID
Really nice video. Ps i have watched since that smashing imac g3 @420 party in 2013
I love how the brand is hype and the speaker is hype😂😂😂😂
Those BL-5C batteries are what you used to use for Nokia dumb phones and these are still used in many parts of the world like Africa and some of the poorer areas of Asia. In the west the BL-5C has found its niche in powering radios and other small household electronics.
That’s like the PSYC TORRE and the INTEMPO mirror light speaker
that battery is a common clone of a nokia phone battery
3:44 hahahahahha
nice video keep blowing up bad speakers
The psyc torre has a built in fm radio and the micro usb charger like on yours, it also has an aux port, volume control, and bass intensity control, as well as a skip and seek button, or tuner if using radio, it also has a USB port on it it’s self so you can charge your phone on it, plus you can use the data part of the usb to play music from your phone like you can in a car
Rumor has it when a Chinese person has too much to drink and starts throwing up this is what comes out
those bl5c battery's are very common in cheap phones, bluetooth speakers and other things, there cheap and you would be surprised a lot of things that use battery's (that are cheap) have the EXACT same batt
7:29 That is a old nokia cell phone battery! Like the one they used in the Nokia 2300! Why would they use that to power this "speaker"??
The battery is a the one in a SSE smart meter
EDIT: and that nokia battery is a nokia 1208 BL-5C
Amplifier ic is in other plate with vol controls... battery is from old Nokia phone the 3310 BL 5C
That one even has the plastic insert around the speaker to hide the ugly corner pieces just like on the psyc torre and yes the intempo and torre are Chinese too, and cheesy
00:52 WHAT THE HECK IS DOING YOUR CAT IN THE AMPS
Probably warm in there
Yeah😂😂😂😂
My dog can bark louder than that thing. And she’s not even alive
Great Video. That destruction a cheap HYPE Sing Along Light Up Karaoke Speaker.
Great Job Garret.
I have a Spanish friend and a Chezk one too.. 3:36

The other ones are Mack tack like the one you have, they have a black plastic wrap on them
And the dog is just chilln
I had one that was blue but it didn't have the microphone ports
Except that the little legs are put on the opposite end to that of the led tower speaker
5:13 Cheap paper cones
thsts so FUNNY HAHAHA XD AT 3:25
Looks like mini Fisher speakers
The funny thing is that the psyc torre also just has four connectors like that one too
he HAD to pet his cat
Nice destruction.

it looks like those hype speakers from 2012
5:42

I'm using a Sony xb20 Bluetooth speaker it sounds amazing for the size of the unit deep bass and clear highs
3:25 hey eveyone garret claridge here! (weird sounds) wtf?
You should try to use the mic jack to play songs
BL-5C is an old Nokia Battery Pack, yup.
cant belive in ma fuckin eyez 😅😂 hees back 🙌😎
Yaay! crappy 1 dollar store Bluetooth speaker!😂😂😂
Hey biglots has a lot of budget speaker I have one and it isn’t that bad they usually cost about $20 to $65 US dollars
I hope you too have a great advertiser friendly day. xD
The speakers aren't that bad (they have a modest excursion) if only the amplifier of that "Karaoke device" wasn't that shitty.
Fire hazard out of the box LOL
That is definitely a cellphone battery or like a Nintendo DS battery or something like that
The whole MDF frame in that one is identical to that of the psyc torre
so i searched some thing about the battery and it seems that it's a battery for a nokia phone
0:49 don't let your cat going there! it's dangerous
Song at 8:32? Anyone know it please?
