What they don't understand is that the speakers he's destroying are cheap chinese junk . I see speakers like these at thrift stores everyday for basically free and nobody buys them . He's doing the world a favor and getting rid of them to be honest and he's funny . Most people are clueless when it comes to speakers or home audio in general these days .

I'm going to be the first to say it, would everyone leave him alone about his teeth! It's called being human and sometimes that happens. Good to see a new video from you man! Had a long work day and seeing speakers and stuff get destroyed strangely relaxes me😌. I have like a gagillion speakers I wished I could somehow get to you. It would be way more fun to watch you blow them up than just doing it myself!

Haha yes. In Germany, where I live, there is also the same junk and we also have fake JBL PartyBoxes from the Denver brand. It's just funny that the Sylvania brand is produced at Garret such as televisions and speakers and in Germany there are lights, fluorescent tubes and LED light bulbs from Sylvania 😂

Hey Garrett I have a question? How come out of all the speaker blow videos there is no Welton pro studio speaker blowout yet? You know those red speakers that were popular in the 2000s at your rental center. From those rent to own furniture box stores I'm sure you see needs before but I have not seen them in a speaker blow video yet 😂

The little tape machine reminds me of a unit that Techmoan tested a while back. Though it was under a different name, the unit itself looks almost identical.
I notice a lot of very cheap modern boomboxes that use a transformer always has that hum.
I also notice that i lot of very cheap stuff is very light unless they have something heavy in them, when i wish that they'd shove a brick of metal in there so it doesn't float away, sometimes you need a little bit of weight, and some things (ahem roku) has no weight and ends up being hard to position correctly because the stiffness of the connectors ends up making the thing move around a lot when it could've been avoided.
If I’m not mistaken I could’ve sworn I seen that particular boombox on a CZcams channel called Techmoan

Hey Garret! I love your Walkman collection! especially the TPS L2! does your one function? I have a TPS L2 and I have replacement belts for it. I had it for a bit and it got a but wobbly. but its getting fixed this weekend! nothing beats the analog sound of a record playing or a tape playing!

I think the CZcams algorithm needs like more than 5 Seconds to recognize on the Google music recognition server.
I think you should also do battery destruction too... 3.7v batt vs 120v AC lol... that would of made up for the Sylvania boom box... just a suggestion ; )

I'm somehow addicted to your speaker savagery. You should do a video where you connect a large stack of random speakers in parallel to an amp or variac and slowly ramp up the voltage until you have one survivor...then pop it (obviously).
