  • While some people think eating keto means loads of conventionally raised meat and dairy, the true (and beneficial version) means lots of beneficial fats from things like avocados, nuts and seeds, and coconut; high-quality protein from clean sources like grass-fed meat and pasture-raised eggs; and plenty of non-starchy vegetables.
I was excited to talk with my friend and one of the leading voices in the Paleo/Primal and keto movements, Mark Sisson to hash out details about keto and how it can support good health.
Mark is the founder of the popular daily health blog, Mark’s Daily Apple, godfather to the Primal food and lifestyle movement, and the New York Times bestselling author of The Keto Reset Diet. His latest book is Keto for Life, where he discusses how he combines the keto diet with a Primal lifestyle for optimal health and longevity. Mark is the author of numerous other books as well, including The Primal Blueprint.

Unlimited steak and bacon - you sure can. Back in the day I did the old Atkins Diet twice to loose twice. Here is what happens to everybody for all practical purposes - By day 4 one gets really tired of it and settles down big time. Try it and see

Only grass-fed organic meats are healthy, but since they are expensive and not easy to find, most people can't eat much of it.
