No doubt submarine are important but, acquiring the skill to develop an aircraft carrier is not less than it. India neither waste money nor overlooked the security urgency by developing an aircraft carrier.

Submarines are very important. I agree. But keeping in mind that India only had 1 carrier after decommissioning of 2nd one. Therefore 2nd Carrier was a need of an hour. Now India have 3 carriers Andaman(natural carrier) and 2 others. Also since carriers are just one missile down, we atleast must have 2 moving carriers.
What I also know is that just because Submarines are future amd superior, Carriers' work cannot be done by submarines.
Now India must focus on Submarines instead of focusing on 3rd Carrier which I have just heard about(not confirmed).
The problem is not that INS Vikrant is built and commissioned rather the problem lies in derailment of projects 75 and 75i . Plus we still have time to build nuclear powered attack submarines as they can be built quicker than aircraft carriers.

Before going towards offencing strategy we have to prepare for defencive strategy, INS Vikrant is one of them. INS VIKRANT is our floating neval base. It's a complete battle group which also create psychological pressure on enemy.

Just one technical mistake made by you. LCA Tejas has a Ferry Range of 3000Km. And Combat Radius of 500Km. Ferry Range is the range of an aircraft, which is carrying external fuel tanks, and no ammunitions. But in case of combat, it's the Combat Radius that matters.
In case of a naval war against China, most likely we would choke the Malacca Strait for the inbound Chinese oilers. But for that a submarine would serve the purpose much better, since they can stay on station for days, whereas aircrafts can only for an hour or even less, depending on the distance from its take off location.
India need to make new advanced: (1)Satellites for looking all activities of china & others. (2)Highly advanced Submarines. (3)New Technology Weapons that can give more damage to opponent.(4)Do Research on sea & space more.
If our govt spend more r&d then India can be more powerful and advance in every field.
During war submarine are important and during peace aircraft carriers are important.
Instead of submarine India need to work on Underwater vehicle (drone ) , which will be destroy submarine. If India having 100s of UWV submarine will be useless.
