I know some shops that manufacture hoses, but not for diving, but for hydraulic equipment. What are the considerations that must be taken if we want to manufacture them? Your opinion is important to me.

Hi! The major difference between the two types of hoses is of course their use case. Diving hoses are made with a material conducive to life support, meaning they're cleaned properly and generally operate under lower pressures compared to hydraulic hoses. For diving hoses, the focus is on ensuring they do not fail under water, which can be life-threatening. Hydraulic hoses, on the other hand, must prevent leaks and bursts that could pose safety risks due to high-pressure fluids. The fittings used also differ, with diving hoses requiring corrosion-resistant materials like brass or stainless steel and designs that allow for quick but secure connections. Hydraulic hose fittings are typically designed for robustness and high-pressure seals, often made from tougher metals like steel.
