I like how the light bulb is off above EPs chair. That seat in taken forever. TCB.
Thatâs just amazing how people are working to keep Elvis places alive. Thatâs really nifty.
This is one of the coolest videos yet. I didn't really care when the Army shaved my head, because I wasn't born with pretty hair.
Great history Billy. I turned 5 years old 9 days before Elvis got his famous haircut.
Billy you never cease to amaze us! You and Trey are legends! Your dedication in documenting these pieces of Elvis's history is really appreciated by this lifelong fan for one and I'm sure many many others too worldwide. Thank you sir!
Thank You Spa Guy,
You are wright! We have seen all kinds of Photographs of Elvisâs life and events.
However,You bring them back to life as if we Elvis Fans were there at that particular time.
Spa Guy you never disappoint us Fans with your videos.
PS.
Great Thanks to the whole group of Beard Economic Classes for making possible the restoration of this awesome Barber ShopâElvis Museumâ .
It is amazing that the young generation is interested on keeping Elvis Alive,
That shows the impact that Elvisâs Music has made and continues in any generation.

What a great video, Seeing everything just the way it was, The down side was that was the start of his drug use, Wish he never started down that road, Thanks Billy.
Spy Guy I just saw the video of the barracks and this is so cool that this was saved and not torn down. I from Oklahoma and will definitely check this out, saving our America history, I know for a fact that in spruce Canyon they torn down an Army base in and near Colville, Washington. I love America and this is totally American and we need this, can't wait to hear the teacher video and I'm thanking the school kids right now for what they did to help save this iconic moment of American history with it's most famous soldier. New House speaker, let Freedom ring and return to America. đâĄâ€đđâđđ
What a great place Billy. It looks just like it did when Elvis got his famous army haircut. So glad that it has been reserved. I sure hope that people support it. I know that you have got to be tired after all of the Elvis tours so get you some much needed rest. Thanks Spa Guy for taking us along but most of all for helping to keep Elvis's memory alive. God Bless.
Thanks for the video Spa Guy. I grew up in the Fort Smith area and I have been waiting for this video! Several of the barracks and other building were destroyed in a large fire in the early 2000's. It is really a cool place and you showed a picture from the movie A Soldier's Story. Other movies were filmed there as well including Biloxi Blues and Tuskegee Airmen. If you drove to Fort Smith, you should stop in Russellville for a meal at The Old South. According to the owner, Elvis ate there!
What a great little video - so glad that these are being documented so future fans will be able to have information on our dear Elvis đđđ
You are definitely the super sleuth in Elvis trivia and history. So exciting to see new coverage about our guy Elvis. Some cool stuff ! Elvis was a true patriot. Yes, Happy 88th Birthday Elvis. Thank you Mr. Spa Guy. Safe travels. God's speed.
That's very cool!!! Like you said, I've seen these videos and pictures most of life, but never knew where it was. Great job as always Spa Guy. Thank you for sharing this with us. Happy birthday Elvis. We still love him and miss him.
Cool. I did not know this had been restored or was open to the public. So glad that group got together in 1996 to raise the founds to keep this piece of Elvis and Bonnie and Clyde history alive. Hope you had a great Elvis birthday weekend in Memphis.
Thank you so much Billy this is was remarkable I enjoyed every minute of it I remember them showing I'm watching it when he was getting his haircut and just think I lived long enough to see this and I hope and pray that people donate to keep it alive it's remarkable it actually gave me chills to think that we have something remarkable like that and it's that old thank you again for finding all these you and Trey are very remarkable men and your Treasures to us God bless you both very much sending blessings prayers hugs and love always to you and your families
Cousin Billy canât get out of the trailer to go get this kinda footage and tell true stories. Thank You
Mr. B
Another outstanding,...informative video. That the barbershop has basically not been altered in over 60 some years is amazing.
Great great memories of the king đ
You never miss a beat Billy. This was very cool. Thanks a million!!
another awesome piece of detective work Billy, you are the best, i just wonder if anyone has any of that hair from that day, would be like gold dust today
Fantastic information and what a place to visit! I'm nowhere near there, but I'd go see it if I were. I watched this video twice, I liked it so much. Appreciate all involved for keeping the "museum" up and running to preserve Elvis history! Thanks to all who had a hand in it.
Great job Sir William...that is truly iconic.!! Thank you so much.!!!
Mr. Spa. Guy. Fantastic video. I had seen a documentary of some kind, probably 25-30 yrs ago after Ft Chaffe had closed, and this building, if memory serves me correctly, was literally in a shamble. Was fenced off and had weeds surrounding it. Was really dilapidated. I am so glad you made this. Does the old heart good to see Elvis history being preserved. Thank You. Mr. Spay guy!!! Love it.
Thatâs so cool thst they kept it! Yay! Thank you Billy!
That place is amazing the large cut outs of Elvis are cool....that mini museum is a must to visit......also the seats of bonnie n Clyde ,just great to see.....thanks Spaguyđđ.

Glad they saved the Barbar Shop. It's a part of Elvis history.
That's so awesome, I've seen that footage my entire life probably hundreds of times. It's a great thing they did turning the building into a museum and keeping everything how it was for the most famous haircut the world will ever know. Hopefully one day I will be able to see it in person, but for thank you Billy for showing us yet another enormous piece of Elvis and American History.
Fantastic that this was saved.đđđ

Extraordinario muy bien gracias
I always get excited when I see you've posted another video, and this one is a good reason why. The way you mix the old with the new, the "now and then" aspect is just awesome, and even a old fool like me can follow along , and even learn a little something. On top of that, the way you correspond with others is always with such kindness and respect, and I just can't get enough.
Thank you sincerely for everything you do, and every thing you share Billy. Your the best in the business đ

Cool stuff SGđđ«Ą
just amazing as always, your the best spa guy
Spa Guy, I loved this, and it meant a lot! Yes, it is the most famous haircut, and glad his hair on the top was not cut real short. Wonderful the school saved the barbershop! It is very interesting to see (in seeing the old barber chairs and hair tonic bottles). Wonderful the building is white, pics of ELVIS, and making it a historical site. (My great-uncle had a small barbershop where my Daddy was from, during that time, and reminded me of his barbershop some.)
Incredible! Like it's just frozen in time! Thanks for this
Great
The amazing places you find. I NEVER would have imagined that this building still existed (it was in 1958 afterall) let alone how it's been preserved. It's exactly the same. Awesome!
Wish I can go to see it , but I can't even afford to travel to see it. Would love to.

Spa Guy, another great post, and you said massively important these locations are kept for future generations to enjoy and reflect.
Spa Guy, question: Why did they have to 65cents for their haircut ?
wow dude, thatâs cool đđ»
Hi Spa Guy, I was actually only thinking about this place a month ago wondering whatever happened to the place where Elvis had his haircut? I thought to myself that through the years I'll bet its another place that has been knocked down. I'm really pleased that its preserved and the attention to detail is right there. Is the original barber chair in this museum? I remember a barber chair being sold at auction a few years ago, and Graceland bought it. It was on display here at the 02 Elvis Exhibition in 2015. I saw it took photos it looked like the original chair from back in the day.
Thanks!
PS: Sadly Lisa Marie Presley died today due to heart failure. Just after celebrating Elvis's 88th Birthday at Graceland a few days ago... January 8th. Condolences to her daughters and mother. May she RIP.
Got my haircut there on 2009
Super la vidĂ©o đ
đgreat
Thatâs history right there, Paul. (Middlesbrough) uk
I was shocked to discover when interviewing my great uncle (I was doing genealogy), when I asked about his military service, he offhandedly mentioned he was in Elvisâ unit in Germany. He said he acted just like any other soldier, the only thing that brought attention to him was some people having to carry bags full of fanmail lol (I canât remember if he said it was fellow comrades)
Cool Stuff.. you should post your interview..
Thanks I seen your videos on Chelcie Lynn channel just becoming a big Elvis fan thanks for sharing! Subscribed and liked â€
Welcome Jake!!
I was sent to Fort Chaffee,Arkansas Mar Of 1959 for basic training, I remenber getting my hair cut at that barber shop and the barber that was cutting my hair was telling me about Elvis getting his hair cut there I was only 17 years old and was not a fan of Elvis at time. I was in Company E Fourth Battalion , Brigadier General William C. Bullock was our Commanding General. Fort Chaffee was created in 1941 on 73,000 acre
Cool Story!!
