Dificilmente habrá otro músico igual. No solo captaba el ámbito de la historia, la definía con unas notas. Ninguna banda sonora alcanzará a la que creó para "La misión". Mi hijo dice que las bandas sonoras son las sinfonías del siglo XXI y le doy la razón mientras se sigan haciendo con la seriedad y sensibilidad con que Morricone las hacía. Yo no creo en el cielo ni en el infierno, pienso que él se quedó en el corazón de todos nosotros, los que amamos la música y reconocemos a los compositores geniales Gracias, Ennio.

Such wonderful music to listen to, and be soothed by!! I didn't know of this giant of a musical genius until fairly recently -- I was not much into classical music much then. It's amazing how your tastes change as you get older!! I could listen to this man's repertoire all day long!! Just lovely!! It is incredible, the vastness of his works!! I remember the Spaghetti Westerns with Clint Eastwood!! The music was really "catchy" to suite the movies, but never then followed who wrote them at the time!! It is wonderful how many albums have been compiled for his tribute!! I'm working my way through them!! Thank you so much for this and other collections of his!! :)
