When you see him sing you can literally see him articulate every word throughout his whole body, thats why he has so great power in his voice because hes pulling ever note down from his toes to the top

Is it just me, or is this so far the most well rounded performance they did?
They're playing a huge amount of songs for the first time, or haven't for a long time, so some growing pains early on tour were expected. They're really hitting their stride now!

Iv seen a number of bids now of this tour and I'm really disappointed with Yannick. He's made a complete mess of his solos. Especially in death of the Celts.
Janick is a mess. He ruins many solos. He is a one trick pony and he’s not even great at that trick.
Really Dave is one of most armonic guitar player in world!!!

@@troywilkinson160 I don’t agree with you. Considering his age and the fact that he has had throat cancer makes truly impressive that he still sounds as good as he does. Vocalists usually have a decline in the capabilities as they grow older, so it’s unfair to compare him to his younger self.
Notice in my comment I acknowledge him getting old. But he is not killing it as so many have mentioned. He doesn’t want to admit it but they need to lower the key.

It's such a shame that the reverse chord sequence at 4:11, just is too delicate to be easiby audible live with all the extraneous noise, because it really is 1 of the most beautiful chord structures ever written on guitar. Adrian Played the little reverse note sequence "every time" but you can hear it here, but you can't on another fan video, of this same performance, but on the other side of the stage. even here, it's almost inaudible. So Adrian has been playing it every time, at every venue, but you can only hear it if you're close-up. Some Were Saying He's Not Playing It, but This Is the Proof That He Has

Some guys told me there were t-shirts, some posters and the tour hoodie. I was just voluntarily stuck on the front :) same prices as online.

There is a live Version of long--distance runner on CZcams from theeir concert in 86. Very acccurate replication of the album version

Adrian can't figure it out his part on the interlude on the 7/8 timestamp
What are you going on about - This particular smart phone pickup proves that he Is replicating "All" of the chord sequences perfectly, but at a higher pitch so that the solo can be heard in all parts of a large stadium(The pitch descends in the 2nd half of the solo, instead of ascending throughout as in the studio version). Other cover guitarists just recently have mentioned that the delicacy of the solo means parts of it cannot be heard in larger venues.
If you check other videos of this same performance you'll understand why, because on some smart phones, some of the chord sequences are too quiet to be heard with all the extraneous noise
@@Rowlph8888 No bro, on all videos from this tour he is like struggling with the extra notes on the end of each phrase, like he is rushing sometimes fo fit them but his kinda failing to put them because of the irregular timestamp
@@bumbar7 @bumbar7 I see what you mean with regard to fearing being out of kilter with the rest of the music going on around, because of the delicacy and intricacy of the solo. As ffor missing notes throughout, I don't think that
is detracting from the experience and you will find that every tribute act online, has the same problem with this solo, including the Iron Maidens , and the Maiden Tubers, even when they practice the track regularly..
But you will notice that at 4:10-4:11, he fits the liittle reverse notes, before changing to the sequence of notes with a lower pitch. He also did this in the 1st 2 venues, because you could see his fingers doing it, but on those occasions the smartphones which were further away than this 1 barely picked up any audio. Most of the tribute acts, completlly omit that sequence, probably for that reason
I think maybe he considered during those moments that the listener experience was worse than it actually turned out to be. Thus, he tweaked the solo at following venues for the all-round listing experience(cutting out the 4:11 notes).
*Unfortunately for me, I actually like this version that we hear in this video, more than those after and also, more than the studio version.
@@Rowlph8888 I am from Republic of Macedonia and 7/8 time signature is a foundation of our traditional music, as well as, other irregular time signatures such as 9/8, 11/8, 15/8 etc. So as a native with a feel of irregular rhythms I can surely say that he and all other cover guitarists are struggling a bit on this interlude , with all respect for Adrian as a guitar master. Fun fact I guess that they put this interlude in 7/8 as homage to macedonian traditional music. Go check Vlatko Stefanovski - Jovano jovanke, Vlatko Stefanovski - Kalajdzisko oro, Vlatko Stefanovski - Makedonsko devojce, Leb i sol - Devetka to listen to rock jazz blues covers of our traditional songs played by macedonian guitarist on a irregular time signatures effortlessly
