When we were in the parking lot she couldnt understand why little kids and familes were all coming. By the end of the show she didnt know what the hell happened. She says its the best concert she will ever be too. She fucking loves the boys and Eddy. Maiden has been around for generations, and generations after they stop touring, they will be watching the live Maiden boys on the next youtube prolly!
Commit to a minimum of 20 Ayahuasca ceremonies with groups around the world - www.ayahuasca.com/psyche/shamanism/ayahuasca-shaman/ ... Read that link fully, and you will finaly understand Iron Maiden and many great Heavy Metal bands much better ;-)
Iron Maiden is a "Shamanic band" of infinite Truths and love and light. That nobody else can see and understand. Only UNLESS you have Be-come " it " and totally transformed your-Self to infinite Truths of Soul and Spirit in higher dimensions of consciousness can you possibly ever totally understand the beauty of Iron Maiden. Because, "If it's not Shamanic, it's not Organic. " Not many people have the ability to understand Iron Maiden, as most people live in the lies of duality of good and evil of the mind and are just walking "reactions", and lack the consciousness. But, Iron Maiden = Easily the greatest Heavy Metal band in music history. No band writes such depth in their lyrics of the overall human condition with such intelligence & wisdom, bringing light, combined with such beautiful depth, grace, and power in their music. Absolute masters of their craft and creativity. They are untouchable. All you have to do is read Bruce's published books to see these guys have tons of direct Spiritual experiences. These guys know truth and fully know and see right through the lies of society's game, and they see right through all the lies of Religion (and when I say religion I am talking about the lies churches teach, not true Spirituality, as spirituality and religion are nothing alike). Maiden is so much better than Metallica in so many ways. Much better musicians, better singer, far better songwriting. Much more melodic. More "pure" energy. Have almost twice the albums of Metallica, far more longevity and have so many more great songs, and Maiden never wrote a bad album ( you could say they had a sub-par album in the 90's, but remember that was with half the band missing doing their solo stuff). Metallica never really had much to say, while Maiden has so much to say that allow you to really question so many things. Maiden never sold out by producing garbage albums like Metallica's St Anger to appease popularity and the current music "trends" of society, that always pass away, are totally meaningless, and are fake anyways., And you definitely won't see Iron Maiden prostituting themselves in silly reality TV shows like Metallica and KISS have done for years. It's just not Maiden's style. They have absolutely no interest in being "celebrities", or any gossip/drama. Drawing attention away from them because as they said, the music is about much more than them. Which is why they have a mascot "eddie" on their album covers, so people focus on eddie and not the "images" of the band members. Having Eddie (which is just a representation of the blind ego-based mind) leaves them alone to be themselves and they don't have to have any fake image of being "rock stars". As Bruce once said, We can continue making music when we're old and ugly and just slap Eddie on the album cover and nobody will mind. And it is brilliant. Inner light doesn't need the spotlight. Maiden always stayed true and original. Always timeless. Eternal. Nobody sounds like them and nobody ever will. Nobody will again write such important and complete concept albums with such atmosphere like Somewhere in Time and Seventh son, with that super high-level musicianship and genius bass and guitar work (and no band introduced synthesizers into their music with such seamless genius as Maiden did on those 2 albums),, as the concepts of those albums are vital to every human being and Spirit- realizing the illusion of time, and seventh's son concept of realizing the illusion of duality,. The beauty and truths of 1984's " Powerslave" album with it's beautiful egyptian theme, and the striking messages that are right in the title track itself (Powerslave). How humans are slaves to death (in other words, slaves to the illusions of Time), therefore slaves to needing power or any control or judgment, the cause of all our deep inner separations, our greed and selfishness and total blindness, because of the Ego false-self. All of our problems come from our absolute stupidity of fear of death, as humans are totally separated from Truths of Spirit and Soul. The more one fears death, the more one is fearful of life and fearful of fully receiving and giving love. Truth is always paradoxical, as at the speed of light there is no time, it's the Eternal Now of presence. In other words no duality of Good and evil, but only "unity" consciousness of light of the infinite Oneness of the Universe, as you are the Universe ( it's not a coincidence that Maiden's new album has a song titled "Speed of Light"). And it's not a coincidence that "Somewhere in Time" was their next album after they produced one of the greatest heavy metal albums of all-time - Powerslave. And who else in heavy metal at the time had the courage to write long 14-minute masterpieces like Iron Maiden's "Rime of the Ancient Mariner" to close out an album?? The answer is nobody else, only Maiden, because it was unheard of before that. And their new album, they just wrote an 18-minute masterpiece to close that album with most of the band over 60. Again, IN-tegrity. Nobody else had a 7-album run like Maiden's first 7 albums. Some bands may put out a couple nice albums in their prime and whisper away into the night, but Maiden put together 7 fantastic albums in a row. And the fact they put out so much great material of those 7 monumental albums in just an 8 year span is unfathomable. Magical. They don't write about meaningless sleaze as other bands do, with the exception of the song "22 Acacia Avenue" in their early days (although the end of that song does have a positive message), and the band said they regretted it, and why they very rarely play it live, even though it is a very good song and fans always ask them to play it live. Speaking of Live, their live albums are excellent. You simply cannot find bands with live albums that can approach Maidens live recordings, and in ways better than the studio albums, and that speaks volumes. And at 60 years of age and 40 years into their careers, they are still pumping out great new material. Unlike Metallica where their last 4 albums they were just looking for something to click with no purpose or direction, just poking around aimlessly, it's blatantly obvious. Just 15 years into Metallica's career they were long done producing shameful music with albums like Reload and St Anger. While Maiden, always progressing itself, yet staying true to their form and originality at the same time, 20+ years into their careers came out with a very good album 'Brave New world' . The band quietly laughing at anyone who thought they were done, with a nice tip of the hat to the legendary psychedelic medicine visionary Alduous Huxley. Many songs on that album like "Dream of Mirrors", and "Ghost of the Navigator" that metallica can't touch. If you want to see what a fraud Metallica has always been, a simple search for Grunge "Metallica's shadiest secrets" will do the trick. And years later, Iron Maiden 25 to 35 years into their careers wrote and produced so many great songs like "The Nomad", " Dance of Death", "The Red and the Black, "The Talisman", "If Eternity should fail", The Man who would be King", "Paschendale", "Brighter than a Thousands Suns", "The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg", "Lord of Light, Isle of Avalon", "The Legacy", "The Longest Day", "Montsegur", "Starblind"", "Out of the Shadows", "The Book of Souls", "Journeyman (and Journeyman being my personal Ayahuasca journey tribute song :-)" .... "Rainmaker", "Coming Home", "For the Greater Good of God", just to name a few songs that metallica hasn't come close to achieving in their mid to later years. Cliff Burton was the heart of Metallica and by far their best and most talented musician. Burton was to Metallica what Steve Harris is to Iron Maiden. Steve Harris is widely considered to be the best heavy metal bassist of all-time, and if Burton were still alive, he'd be right there with Harris, that's how good Burton was. Nobody in Metallica comes close to Burton's immense talent he had as a musician. When Burton passed away in 1986 Metallica went downhill as they lost their true backbone and juice. And they replaced him with mere hired guns to control, just a hired body to fill in, not to have as a real contributor. But let's face it, a major part of Metallica's popularity is just because of the label that they are an 'american band'. Metallica is always covering Maiden songs in their concerts, and they've played multiple Maiden songs in their concerts as Metallica was influenced by Iron Maiden (All you have to hear is Lars Ulrich grovel at Iron Maiden like a lost puppy during Maidens 2008 tour) . But you don't see Maiden covering Metallica songs. Because Maiden IS Maiden. Even if you split the band members into doing solo work, James Hetfield couldn't come close to writing such a beautiful solo album for himself as Bruce did with "The Chemical Wedding", and what a masterpiece album that is. Why don't more people know about Bruce's solo work? who knows, but people are missing out. One thing is for sure, there is so much more love and MYSTERY in Iron Maiden's music. And so much more meaning. And they always truly progressed. Not many people understand the deep Spiritual meanings in Iron Maiden's music, or understand the full concepts of their albums because they're quite deep, mysterious, wonderous, and absolutely magnificent. But once you grow Spiritually to higher levels of Consciousness, Maiden can bring you to weeping tears with their beauty and Truths in their music. Metallica doesn't have that depth, beauty, or power. Real Power is so much more than just playing fast and heavy. Iron Maiden is so much more than just a great heavy metal band, Maiden is much more than the music. As when it comes to the greatest in anything, there is always Much More than meets the eyes (and ears). Eye love you Iron Maiden!!. Gratitude !! Shanti OM . Namaste
Iron Maiden's "Piece of Mind" album cover from 1983 tells you everything. Eddie is nothing more than a metaphorical representation of the Ego mind, as who the person thinks they are and all their beliefs are total PRISONS. The mind knows nothing. As everything in society and religion is a lie, as it's all illuminati-government manufactured. Ask yourself, since when did the government buy the Earth for you to pay them so they can tell you how to live here ? Exactly, they never bought the earth, it's all a total sham. Satan (or devil) is nothing more than fancy word-play for he ego thinking mind, as all beliefs and all thoughts are outwardly ( not inwardly), therefore all thoughts and all beliefs are all lies and illusions. Don't forget to read the tombstone on Maiden's LIVE AFTER DEATH album cover from 1985 , death is total illusion. People miss that just as people miss the 3rd eye Pineal Gland that is depicted in detail just below the moonlight on Maidens "Somewhere in Time" album cover. Look at the top of the building just to the right under the moonlight. The pineal gland 3rd eye within you that you must activate - Spiritual Vision. Just as Eddie is stricken activating the 3rd eye Pineal gland on Live After Death's album cover. The pineal gland 3rd eye and our chakra system is all over the Powerslave album insert as well. Activating all 7 chakras within you ( via Entheogen plants) is the only way to Spiritual Ascension, as all religions since the first religion the Rig Veda of India come from Alchemy (Entheogens) , in other words, Shamanism. Hence why Bruce Dickinson speaks of that through his solo albums, for example his song " The Alchemist" ( which eye have uploaded on my YT channel). Gods music. Period

Having Adrian as my all time fav guitarist made me hate Jan initially. The fact that he had to exist made me mad. Then I sat back and listened to his stuff and man he is good. How can you hate this solo or fear of the dark? Has some great writing credits as well.
This is the song that blew me away at the time. I had a friend who loved Queen and nothing else. I put Dance of Death on in the car one night going to the cinema to see return of the king, and afterwards, his mouth was open. he said "play it again". Every time after that in the car he demanded I play Iron Maiden! Miss you Simon!

Lyrics Let me tell you a story to chill the bones About a thing that I saw One night wandering in the everglades I'd one drink but no more I was rambling, enjoying the bright moonlight Gazing up at the stars Not aware of a presence so near to me Watching my every move Feeling scared and I fell to my knees As something rushed me from the trees Took me to an unholy place And that is where I fell from grace Then they summoned me over to join in with them To the dance of the dead In to the circle of fire I followed them Into the middle I was led As if time had stopped still I was numb with fear, but still, I wanted to go And the blaze of the fire did no hurt upon me As I walked on to the coals Then I felt I was in a trance And my spirit was lifted from me And if only someone had the chance To witness what happened to me And I danced and I pranced and I sang with them All had death in their eyes Lifeless figures they were undead all of them They had ascended from hell As I danced with the dead My free spirit was laughing and howling down at me Below my undead body just danced the circle of death Until the time came to reunite us both My spirit came back down to me I didn't know if I was alive or dead As the others all joined in with me By luck then a skirmish started And took the attention away from me When they took their gaze from me Was the moment that I fled I ran like hell faster than the wind But behind I did not glance One thing that I did not dare Was to look just straight ahead When you know that your time has come around You know you'll be prepared for it Say your last goodbyes to everyone Drink and say a prayer for it When you're lying in your sleep, when you're lying in your bed And you wake from your dreams to go dancing with the dead When you're lying in your sleep, when you're lying in your bed And you wake from your dreams to go dancing with the dead To this day I guess I'll never know Just why they let me go But I'll never go dancing no more 'Til I dance with the dead
If anyone ever insults Janick Gers, just play them this song. One of their absolute best, with 3 amazing solos which reflect each guitarists playing style perfectly.

There is a tavern, deep within the castle walls. The tavern is bustling with activity, drinks, and obnoxious laughter everywhere. The scent of alcohol and smoke is heavy in the air, and in the center of the room is a giant fireplace and bearskin rug. Suddenly someone, in jest, points at a peculiar looking old man, and urges him to recount his tale of "dancing with the dead". Curious men gather around, and the bard begins to play a somber tune on his lute. The man stands up, swaying, drink in hand, and gazes around the room as the noise dies down, and everybody's eyes fall on him. Men pull up their chairs, eager to hear the tale. The old man speaks, a wild glint in his eye... "Let me tell you a story to chill the bones..."
i think that is one of the way the iron maiden and their concerts are loved so much they present like it is jigg and a bard presenting a series of stories pretty cool
Metallica live in Moscow 1991 - gave me chill... Then G&R rock in Rio - my heartbeats pumping... Then this in Chile - omG... My eyes filled with tears..!

Rafael Prados Barbosa you're wrong, it is mostly Janick's, Steve just came up with the lyrics, glad to read that some fans recognized how important he is for maiden, have you guys noted that when Janick writes a song he always include section for all the 3 guitarrists to solo and prelude melodies for the solos aswell? This song is hand to hand with any of their classics and janick is such a great songwriter, the song book of souls is his also and I can mention so many more great songs written by him, i have nothing but the upmost respect for janick gers.
Rafael Prados Barbosa I always enjoy watching him perform this song live because holy shit, his solo, he goes into turbo mode it's amazing and disproves anyone who thinks he's a bad guitarist

Pinhead Larry you wont regret, have seen them twice now. even if it is the same tour you wont regret, the energy, the feeling, the love, its all there and no one cam beat it. seeing bruce run around the stage, the people who all know every song and every lyric every note. its aswome, its epic to be there with 10k+ people and when this song kicks in at the rifs all shouting "ey ey ey ey ey" and the jumping. you are in a stage of death at the end of the convert. but you coming back from heaven.
@@sametyavuz8231 Actually he kind of is right Janick is an absolute legend on the guitar, but turns out Steve Harris always wanted the band to sound much better live than on recordings, and having a band member foolishly changing rhythms on a live show doesn't help that much.... but from my perspective the music still sounds much much better live even with Mr. Gers frolicking around pentatonic scales
This was the first Iron Maiden song I ever heard. I was 16. It's been more than 10 years. And this song still gives me the goosebumps like the first time. UP THE IRONS!

Bruce Dickinson is definitely at the very top of the metal vocals. I'd put him in the first place, side by side with Rob Halford. And the band have never been so good as now with 3 guitars.
This song sounds better in this live version than the original one. The original one is a legend itself but lacks the energy that this live version has!

Gods music.

This is the song that blew me away at the time. I had a friend who loved Queen and nothing else. Lyrics
Let me tell you a story to chill the bones
About a thing that I saw
One night wandering in the everglades
I'd one drink but no more
I was rambling, enjoying the bright moonlight
Gazing up at the stars
Not aware of a presence so near to me
Watching my every move
Feeling scared and I fell to my knees
As something rushed me from the trees
Took me to an unholy place
And that is where I fell from grace
Then they summoned me over to join in with them
To the dance of the dead
In to the circle of fire I followed them
Into the middle I was led
As if time had stopped still
I was numb with fear, but still, I wanted to go
And the blaze of the fire did no hurt upon me
As I walked on to the coals
Then I felt I was in a trance
And my spirit was lifted from me
And if only someone had the chance
To witness what happened to me
And I danced and I pranced and I sang with them
All had death in their eyes
Lifeless figures they were undead all of them
They had ascended from hell
As I danced with the dead
My free spirit was laughing and howling down at me
Below my undead body just danced the circle of death
Until the time came to reunite us both
My spirit came back down to me
I didn't know if I was alive or dead
As the others all joined in with me
By luck then a skirmish started
And took the attention away from me
When they took their gaze from me
Was the moment that I fled
I ran like hell faster than the wind
But behind I did not glance
One thing that I did not dare
Was to look just straight ahead
When you know that your time has come around
You know you'll be prepared for it
Say your last goodbyes to everyone
Drink and say a prayer for it
When you're lying in your sleep, when you're lying in your bed
And you wake from your dreams to go dancing with the dead
When you're lying in your sleep, when you're lying in your bed
And you wake from your dreams to go dancing with the dead
To this day I guess I'll never know
Just why they let me go
But I'll never go dancing no more
'Til I dance with the dead
Sensacional. Obrigado

+patrick cruz no thank u
patrick cruz Queen+Adam Lambert
Janick Gers doesn't get the respect that he deserves.
He needs to stop dicking about on stage and play the rhythm parts properly instead of wind milling it.
@@Samael78 How dare he have actual stage presence
@@Samael78 shut the fuck up
@@sametyavuz8231 Actually he kind of is right Janick is an absolute legend on the guitar, but turns out Steve Harris always wanted the band to sound much better live than on recordings, and having a band member foolishly changing rhythms on a live show doesn't help that much.... but from my perspective the music still sounds much much better live even with Mr. Gers frolicking around pentatonic scales
And he probably won't, until, god forbid, Iron Maiden retires or he passes away.
Y pensar que hace 6 años conocí está legendaria banda, me abrieron la puerta al mundo heavy.
This was the first Iron Maiden song I ever heard. I was 16.
It's been more than 10 years. And this song still gives me the goosebumps like the first time. UP THE IRONS!
6:15 JANICK GERS IS GOD!!!!!
Lexter Padilla Well I don´t know if he´s God, but he´s an outstanding songwriter, an awesome performer, and a brilliant guitarist with unforgetable hands......I SIMPLY ADORE THIS AMAZING MAN .....
YES
For sure man, I thought the same!!
Lexter Padilla yeah he ripped that solo. Freaking awesome
Dale He always have and always will, the guy´s phenomenal !!
5:53 Janick little eyes light up when he sees the power of the Latin American people singing. This is unheard of anywhere else in the world! 😀
1:12 "Officer sorry about that"
RESPECT RESPECT RESPECT TO SIR BRUCE DICKINSON ❤🤘😎
Bruce Dickinson is definitely at the very top of the metal vocals. I'd put him in the first place, side by side with Rob Halford.
And the band have never been so good as now with 3 guitars.
ask him to single aces high just like the album champs
+CrimsonRider What starts with D, has an I in the middle, and ends with an O?
+Very Powerful DickInsO?? jk.. But he said metal vocalists.. Didn't say anything about metal gods!
+Very Powerful yeah, but he's dead. As such, his vocals have suffered.
This song sounds better in this live version than the original one. The original one is a legend itself but lacks the energy that this live version has!
Like all maiden songs :)
You will dream of it too. :)
What a gift to the world and every metalhead past and present!! The best metal band on the face of the Earth!!
impresionante el publico en America Latina. Saludos y admiracion desde el sur de Espanha.
This Santiago crowd is the best live audience I've ever seen! And Janick Gers looks like a blond 'Daryl' (Norman Reedus) from The Walking Dead :D

Literally the best frontman in the history of heavy metal.
cada que veo una presentacion en vivo de Iron Maiden, no puedo evitar emocionarme hasta las lagrimas... son excelsos!!
The crowd was amazing!
Ojalá vuelvan a tocar esta canción en Chile 2024.
This is why we listen to music. Perfection!
Este tema es una obra de arte, como empieza lenta y va subiendo hasta el extasis, mis respetos para el público chileno,si algo extraño cuando los veo por Europa es ese fervor incondicional en el público ! Up The irons motherfuckers
jaja la verdad , es de mis preferidos , aparte de que como siempre , la letra de iron maiden siempre muy buena .
Masterpiece indeed! ❤🤘🤩🇧🇷 Up the Irons !
@@annesanchez1581 👏👏🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Janick is one melodic guitarist.
Magnífico. Bruce como sempre uma presença de palco incrível. Que banda sensacional
The greatest metal band on earth UP THE IRONS !
Freaking A....Adrian's solo was awesome...then Dave ....then Janick.... Three of the best metal guitar players all in one band. Awesome!
Some things get better with age.
Rush also comes to mind.
Kate Hoover theese astonishing guys are only improving, and searching to find new musical borders to cross, their musical capabilitys are overwhelming !!!
I am always amazed by how well the 3 lead guitarists play together!!!!
6:37 Seeing Steve Harris belting out that line from the heart like he F?cxing means it gives me the shivers every time
that scream at 1:34!!!... nice
20+ years listening to IRON MAIDEN, Never bored
This is (at least for me) their truth masterpiece… Such a fantastic artwork
El público Latinoamericano y concretamente Sudamericano, tiene más fuerza, garra y corazón que cualquier otro en el mundo. Saludos desde Uruguay.

Amazing!
Enjoying the experience of diving into the rabbit hole❤
Increible los directos de esta gente, incluso con los años es que suenan muchas veces en directo mejor que en el original
