Thank you for speaking up. One of the best vlog about the Indian Muslim women who are struggling to make a safe space in educational institutions. More power to them! The woman on the right of the presenter has done a tremendous job of stating her case. So sad to see how she is being marginalised because the majority is suspicious of her. I wish people would be accepted for who they are. Muslim women don’t know what’s good for them? I saw that mentality in uOttawa’s law school too even though I am non-hijabi, non-practising. I was told there is nothing wrong with saying that Muslims don’t look like they are bad people because it’s free speech . Those threatening me were part of the Indian community. Obviously, they weren’t Muslims. If we have accepted that Muslims are lesser People than saving them from Hijab is justified. This yogi mentality isn’t limited to UP. I have seen how every one teamed up against me when I objected to “free speech” that classifies Muslims like Abdel Razik in the “bad” category. A white woman married to an Indian (manish) holding those views gets offended when questioned and punishes you with threats and lower grades. The retaliation doesn’t end there. I am told the importance of her career? Should we care about Islamophobic people like yogi and Jackie, manish or Vandana Patel. The burden is on us to accommodate Islamophobia??!?! It will take generations for these Muslim women to be accepted as “good” people even if they denounce Islam today. The desire to protect and civilise Muslims? It has happened to me as well. Stay quiet and follow their path so they can teach you how to become a good person?!?!? 🤦🏽♀️

I should have opted for a more diverse place like Minnesota. My friend had a really good experience there. My undergrad in the US ? Zero issues!
