IKR! That was what i was about to comment but i wanted to see if anyone else would notice or mention that, they all thought it was so predictable and easy to see, yet got the biggest plot twist yet for such a dumb rookie character.
Now THAT'S subverting expectations.

The collective scream when Toro showed Mando he had baby yoda really shows how in love people have fallen with him. I knew he was fine. Mando is resourceful and good at worming his way out of trouble.

He left the baby because it was sleeping and he’s not stupid enough to bring a high value target into an ex bounty hunter hive. I always found it amusing when Toro woke up Mando and he pretended to be asleep until the idiot started spinning his blaster around. Let’s be real Mando’s probably a pretty light sleeper and woke up as soon as Toro said the suns were down. He just faked sleep to watch him make a fool of himself.
This is by far the most Wild-Wild-West-like episode yet.

True that if he took off those binders he would be dead and there's no point in leaving her there I thought he was stupid at first but it was a smart play kind of fucked up but it was a good strategy he had leverage with that information

(Having said that, Toro might’ve made the smart move by not trusting Fennek, but he made a VERY dumb move double-crossing Mando)

I love that the scene where the kid shot the assassin was at dawn. Just that split second when the flash from his blaster firing lights up how dead his eyes are when he pulls the trigger.

9:19 Everyone says it boba fett which actually might be true. We hear boba have spurs in episode 5 when he walks and the beeping noise before was the same sound he made in episode 4 when jabba met han at the falcon in mos eisley. Also mandalorian armor was found by jawas and given to a lawman named Cobb Vanth in the star wars book aftermath and found a dead sarlaac as well.
