I tried these and they turned out beautifully. Mine were less watery as I used canned chickpeas. I added quarter cup of water to blend fried onions with Yogurt and added one big chilli to the same. So the gravy was more sticky & gooey due to less water.

Hi chef. I tried this today and was looking for one such recipe. Many years back in Kuwait. We use to order chole with parota and Sheera for breakfast from a Pakistani restaurant. I didn't get the punjabi part much but I like the musicality of it ...it sounded so sweet .. I agree that once in while no harm in a panjabi vid bas yay hy ky mujh jaysay miskeeno ko translate kerwani paray gi ... but that's not a big deal.
