Norway is set to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö, Sweden, with "Ulveham" performed by Gåte. The Norwegian broadcaster Norsk rikskringkasting (NRK) organised the national final Melodi Grand Prix 2024 between January and February 2024 in order to select the Norwegian entry for the 2024 contest.

Personally i loved Norway! I do not know how people dont see this as a potential winner.
Because it scares the sh!t out of grannies and SMS-teens, and because it lacks instrumental melody. You should be pleased if it ends up on the right side of the scoreboard which strangely enough is to the left.
The problem with Norway is that they won’t get many jury votes and the televote is already extremely competitive

Your underwhelmed reaction underwhelms me. The song is epic
I kind of had the same reaction as you the first time - I was expecting and waiting for a more melodic chorus. But already on the second and third listening I was sold. The budget definitely did not go on staging only. This has so many layers, so many accords - and that chanting and then the whispering. It was all too much to take in on the first listning. But damn - now I love it! And I am so happy that Norway is sending something else that just another pop-song - and in Norwegian. Thanx to Gåte for joining the MGP.

How can one not get hyped of this. It is ticking all the primals in human kind. WOW
I didnt like the song when I heard it on radio first time. Was lucky enough to see the rehearsel show for Gåtes semifinal and enjoyed the preformance and the song a lot more, a very clear winner in the MGP heat this year. Just like you say, i feel something is missing, I do feel the song is a bit repetative towards the end, huge challenge for the vocalist to "sream" so much at the end. However, very authentic preformance and song (,totally opposite Croatia this year ;) )
You can't clip the song and than complaine somthing is missing.
I loved the video! There's just one thing that I really dislike about the video, you cut the music and for me it's just... Bad
