Carolyn's not just a pretty face, very charming and intelligent too.
Aww...Carolyn is so pretty. Very good player. Died so young.
I love how Carolyn gets into the game.
Carolyn was absolutely adorable ❤️
I have a good friend who taught Carolyn Jones dancing during the last year of her life and she said that Caroline was such a dear...
*Carolyn! I despise "auto-correct"....
Carolyn is so lovely
Her laugh is so funny I can’t
Carolyn are such beautiful with the way she smile, laugh and talking ❤️
Love the close-ups on Carolyn Jones. She has mona lisa like features...beautiful
Never thought about that but you are so correct! Gorgeous. And a Texas girl.
Carolyn is such a sweetheart😭💗
I don't think anyone enjoys this game quite like Carolyn does.
She was just so adorable!
@@ebbaehle2307 adorable is so right! "Oh Jeepers!" I'm using that from now on.
And Betty White, along with her mother!
Carol Burnett was up there, too!
Carolyn was so FINE!
Carolyn was a treasure.
I really enjoy watching these. But it is a bit sad, because we've declined so much as a society.
Barry kept coughing into his hand, then he shakes the hands of the contestants.
Get Barry a glass of water.
For good reason, everyone only thinks of Carolyn Jones as Morticia, but she had been a solid working actress for decades. I remember her from House of Wax.
Carolyn is a delight...
How many other people are here after binge watching retrospectives of the Adams family & Carolyn Jones?
As a side note (and this is a little naughty) at 13:20 I thought his clue might be "HOLE!" LOL :-)
Me! I'm obsessed with her and the rest of the cast after re-watching the show, too
@@BeeHatGuy thank you so much for your positive comment. I have now subscribed to your channel!
I like her other work a lot better than The Addams Family, especially her dramatic roles.
@@ChrisHansonCanada That's cool, that is your prerogative. (BTW, this is voicetube answering from one of my other channels).
She Was so Beautiful And Smart Cant Ask For Anything More❤❤❤❤❤
Porque pessoas tão corretas doces simpáticas e talentosas morrem tao cedo? Está mulher é um exemplo de dignidade 🌹
Loved Barry's smiling overbite!! But poor guy at one time almost was about to cough up a lung!!!
i was yelling words at them
I was yelling ruffian at them as a clue...
Finally the number 6 made this episode at 13 minutes! Unfortunately they were losing 15-6.
9:07 ssssssssssssnaakkkeeeeee ssssssslitherrrrr 😂🤣
So Beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
7:58 point -- Allen Ludden refers to the bonus game set-up as a "toaster."
Foreshadow of Super Password's "Magic Toaster" for Cashword?
Carolyn could have used "Opposite" as a clue a couple times in the lightning round. But, that said, she was a darned good player!
for Glory you need to sing 'HALELUJAH'
Oh our dear Carolyn😥she is so happy and funny there, her voice and laugh..so hearty...
Please...I dont understant very well..what she says at the beginning when she talk about books and reading?? Thank you❤ rest in peace our sweetheart🖤
8:18, I like how these common ordinary people meet famous celebrities!
My lovely Katameea ! Gomez was the love of Morticias life , that long hair she had along with a stunning body ,her cherub like innocent face and her way of walking baby steps was tbe most sexy mom om tv.
..
Querida, you speak French!!
Wish I’d been a teenager in 1966 just the best everything . I was 2 oh well
That is some smoker's cough Barry Sullivan has.
And Barry died of throat cancer so could be he was a smoker also he was 54 yrs old here and he looks much older.
they should had some water for the poor guy
And sadly that is what killed him. He was one absurdly underrated actor.
He passed in 1994 at the age of 81. Don't smoke, just sizzle.
For "Glory" I think if one were to sing "HALLELUJAH…" (From the song "Glory, Glory Hallelujah…") That might have gotten the word (at least two or three clues in.)
With Barry coughing on the word 'Smog' they're likely to think he's using gestures.
I wonder if Carolyn ever did another musical? She mentioned she wanted to do another one in one of the Password shows...
LOL@ Barry Sullivan when Allen revealed the password was "thug".
17:19 lightning round >> Month----November; Lombardi---Coach; Uncle---Ante (They'd accept it for lightning round)
At least by 15:19 I would guess he would've given the clue "storyyyyy....."
At approximately 16:26 is coughing was, at that point, appropriate :-)
The host asks the female contestant what her husband does.
It was known from the previous episode that she was married and her hubby worked. In practice if a female contestant was single and a "working girl" (did not have the pejorative connotation it does today), he's ask about that.
@@marieterese2926 wrong. Pretty normal. *1966*
@@marieterese2926 And where are we today?
You call ONE step away from "Idiocracy" -- progress?
That same inane comment is made on each of these videos.
My aunt was 29 when this was first aired.
And my Grandma's dog was four.
how are those fast round cards popping up and down out of the desk?
Magic fairies?
when it gets down to 3 pts I'd say 'Guth' then 'Backwards the next time for 'thug' if the doc buzzes it out, so what.
no Betty
I really love these old password clips and I'm enjoying them very much but the sexism is kind of astonishing. He always asks the men what their hobbies are but then he asks the women what their husbands do rather than asking them what their hobbies are. Kind of interesting.
Agreed people could get away with that stuff back then sadly
really hoping all the women were housewives and thats why he didnt ask them
Back then men were men and women were women ..
Today? We don't know WTF we are!
You call that progress?
Back then they had class and decorum ..
Today? We are ONE step way from "Idiocracy!"
It was a simpler and more innocent time where women mostly stayed home and actually prioritized th their families before they were sold the lie that is radical feminism that made motherhood second place to materialism and money Worshipping. Think about it!
I have a semi serious question: per the rules of the game, could you use the clue "Flutterby" for "Butterfly." It might be considered by the doctor as to words, however, I THINK the original name for "Butterfly" was "Flutterby" (so it could be actually considered a one-word synonym?).
I looked it up technically and it is a dictionary word (Flutterby) which is a childish name/synonym for Butterfly. So the doctor would have to allow it 🙂
1:20 "Jocelyn what does your husband do?" Those were the days! By the way Carolyn Jones would be 90 today. I really don't get this game though. You have to guess a word by giving the opponent a synonym. Kind of dumb isn't it? But anyway they had the best guests stars of the era!
Yeah, but Jocelyn was a cutie.
Certainly a simple premise, but if it was always easy as it might seem, there'd be no game at all. Even with an extensive vocabulary, the English language can be a tricky thing. Like saying "weak" and your partner hears "week". Or if the clues being given reflect two different definitions of the word, things can get very confusing. Then throw in opposites or partial phrases. The simplest word can remain elusive. That's what made it entertaining and often quite comical, imo.
How come nobody has water to sip on while playing
warning, warning, another Gilbert Godfrey look alike 9:03
"I give up"? Your teammate's monetary winnings depend on your bothering to play!
She cheated making the hiss sound plus saying snake.
