  • During the intervening years between 1945 and 1949, Germany was in a state of chaos and despair following the end of World War II. The postwar period was one of intense violence, and women became victims of increased sexual assault and disturbing violence.
Countless crimes from this period have never been solved and continue to raise questions to this day. Cases such as the unsolved murder of Zenta Hausner, an innkeeper with a dangerous double life in the black market, exemplify the terrible fate of women trying to survive in difficult times. During this time, thousands of sex offenses were committed by Allied occupation soldiers, but only a few were held accountable. The number of victims of black market trafficking and illegal smuggling was also similar to that of concealed sex offenses.

Proof of how ridiculous our society has become. A woman is raped and murdered over 75 years ago. The military prints HUNDREDS of posters with a photograph of the deceased victim. The entire population of Hamburg sees this including children of any age. Yet today, this historical photo cannot be seen by adults because the image may be "OFFENSIVE" to some snowflake that may be upset. Do those in charge realize that this is an INSULT to ALL mature adults?

The segment about the coffee border is the most heart-breaking. People will commit murders at any point in history, for any number of reasons, but Horst Klinger and the other twenty-five had their lives ended because of a deliberate act arrived at in some office by some officials who put peoples' lives in a time of scarcity and need at lower importance than the money they were trying to collect to fill the government's coffers.
In this regard, the orders to shoot at children and teenagers are no less reprehensible than the 'shoot to kill' orders given to the East German border guards. That is state-sanctioned murder. In both cases there should have been trials at some point along the lines of the war crimes trials in Nurnberg.

Germany triggered a world war along with Japan that lead to 60 million deaths. And out of the 60 million dead 40 million were unarmed civilians killed by German or Japanese military forces. Also,Japan and West Germany were rebuilt with much assistance from the United States and by 1970 became the 3rd and 4th largest economies in the world, respectively. Japan and Germany go off easy after WW2.

It's true about the Germans. Many people lived out the war in concentration camps like Dachau, which is where resistance fighters of several countries were sent if they weren't executed. But in Germany it was very difficult to not conform. They even required people to listen to the radio, to attend demonstrations, and inform on their neighbours.
But many of them had no problem with invading the neighbouring countries and taking their land.

What burns me up is their policies on comments. I had 5 different accounts deleted for saying stuff that was far less bad than what is in many movies and documentaries here, and now they are going even farther. They don't wait for a comment to be reported anymore. They just randomly delete my comments.
They take the ones about loving kittens just as much as any with a political preference in them. I almost never used to swear or insult people, but CZcams has enraged me so much with their shadowbanning that I feel like they're pushing me into doing it! This comment might get through or it might not. They are taking away our 1st Amenment rights, while allowing a lot of very foul stuff in videos. And I can't find any way to even report videos or channels!
The blocking of pictures does bother me, as well as extremely overzealous policies about copyrights, but the way they allow such awful things to be said in the comments and shown in videos while punishing left wingers like me who are by nature pacifists and non-aggressive makes me pretty mad.

@@user-gj1np8zd5t Fascism is a system through which a party seizes and keeps power by mobilizing the population in an ideology that subordinates all aspects of life under the common fight against an exterior enemy and the hunt for traitors. Key aspects are fetishisation of violence and the military, glorification of a collective past and a cult for martyrs.
