From the bank I love to tie on a lipless and cast with the wind it deep, let it sink into some submerged grass then rip it out.
When I mean cast with the wind, I mean nearly spooling my reel completely.
I get some pretty good day's with wind doing that and fishing a jig.

Tyler what is the small thing on the brim of your hat. I’ve wondered for about 3 months now
It’s the Anglr Bullseye! Pretty cool deal for pre-fishing/breaking down water but even better for actually fishing. The Anglr app is basically a digital logbook that allows you to drop waypoints and saves all sorts of data about each fish catch that you can come back in later and view or edit. Stuff like wind speed and direction, air temp, barometric pressure, etc. The app is free but they offer add-ons like the Bullseye that just make it a lot easier to use. That’s the little thing on my hat in the video. It’s like 30 bucks but you can bluetooth link it to your phone and that way each time you catch a fish you just hit the Bullseye and it logs all that stuff without having to take your phone out each time. People compare ANGLR to Fishbrain, but it’s much more helpful at making you a better angler than Fishbrain

So far, it’s the 7’6” MH Magnum Rattletrap Rod. KVD just designed some glass rods though, so I’m guessing that will take over as my favorite if it works well for me

Why can’t you fish a frog with mono
You can but braid is just the standard. As long as it’s not fluoro it can work
Cause mono has stretch. You don’t want stretch when setting the hook on a frog that has twin thick hooks
