I watch your videos every day. You guys are fantastic. We in S.A. like your accent. We even try to mimic how you talk. South Africans has always loved African Americans. We seem to have something in common.
I am 58 years of age. In my younger times, I listened to American music from the likes of Aretha Franklin, The O'Jays, Manhattans, Whitney Huston, The jazz Crusaders and all I cannot name because of time. Oprah Winfrey use to come during the nineties but did not wanna stay here.
My Brother your gift and your love of our motherland is amazing. I thank you for everything you do for us and bringing our African Americans home. This is the land where our forefathers were stolen to America so you don't need to be apologetic about that.
I praise you for taking the bold step of coming in South Africa to stay and do business. I have been yearning for our American brothers sisters to come back. At least it's happening in my life time and you are the one who does that.

Interesting connection between African Americans and the Cape: Samson Dyer, African American,has a island named after him off Cape Agulhas;a Confederate raider ship,The Alabama,famously sunk a Union ship in sight of Cape Town and their arival is commemorated in a folk song of the Coloured community,"Hie' kom die Alibama"(Here comes The Alabama).Story goes that there were African Americans on board the ship and through them the Cape Minstrels (Cape Coons) started painting their faces,with the clothes and everything.

We spend 95 percent of our time doing tourism and making sure their trip to South Africa is perfect. You heard them say it...we will use the remaining effort to get their thoughts on camera.
