Bullnose Ford F150 Bought WITHOUT Seeing it!

- Once again Josh from Red Head Garage decides to buy another vehicle sight unseen. This time our new acquisition is a 1983 Ford F150 "Bullnose" Pickup. The original plan was to drive the truck home, but those plans failed after the initial inspection and we ended up trailering it home. (Good thing we didn't drive it since we found the rear brake line was rusted out after we shot the initial video....)
After getting the truck home we did some initial maintenance and changed the oil. Then we change the shop name on the side of the truck to better reflect our shop.
With the truck brought home, maintenance completed, and logos updated, Red Head Garage now has a dedicated shop truck to help us with automotive recoveries and running to the parts store. After this video, future plans for the truck will be to add modifications to make it the best work truck it can be!

Those Ford bullnose models are very rare nowadays.
Not really can find em all day long for 2k bought my 86 diesel for 2k
@@gavincarroll2553I’d have to agree with you , they’re easy to find but around my parts you can’t find a decent one under 2500$ , a good one without a good body and halfway running goes for about 6k

the 83 302 wasn't fuel injected from the factory, Someone either put a 302 out of a Mustang in it or put a FI conversion kit on it, Ford didn't put Fuel Injection from the Factory on the 302's for the F-150 until 1987, but the Bullnose and Bricknose Ford Trucks are becoming a popular build because they are the last of the affordable classic trucks and this one is peach, idk what you paid for it but it was a steal.
1985 I have one XLT lariat explorer super can long bed 2wd aod 302 fi.
That's exactly what I thought when I bought mine
@@ScottLeonard-ms6vn Explorers and Mustangs did have FI, the F-150's did not.
@@TheREALOC1972 sorry to differ sir but as stated 1985 was first year for fi. I own one F-150
