The Meelod DK300 Max is yet another dual battery dual motor dual suspension ebike, may as well call it a dually ebike. What makes this one different? We'll explore that in todays ebike review.

You can unlock an extra 2mph in the advanced settings and hit 35mph using the password "2020". I made a review on this bike and upgraded the seat, brakes, and other stuff. One of the best looking ebikes in my opinion.
speaking of advanced settings, were you able to find a way to disable the cruise control on this bike? thx

@@CarelessKingdom I emailed the company Meelod and they said cruise control is turned off by squeezing the break levers. There does not seem to be a way to deactivate the cruise control in settings. Definitely a bit strange, and honestly put me off from getting the bike. Maybe it's not a big deal... i dunno.
@@supermanishere-vz4pz That’s a certified deal breaker for me. I’ve had many e-bikes and scooters and I tell ya cruise control is a one way street to getting yourself hurt. I was settled on the Meelod but now back to the drawling board.

He tests and shares the results, you gotta read between the lines. You can't expect him to outright bash a bike. They will stop sending him bikes to review.
@@WCoast_ I think he adds just the right amount of humor to the severe defects of some of these models, and to be fair some he'll even label death traps lol but very correct, there is a certain way he has to go about reviews or they won't be inclined to send them, this is way he makes no bones about severe abuse when testing, to make sure even if his words are perky and positive, that you can see the results for themselves in vivid 4k with closeups of damage easily incurred and highlighting occasions where they fail or fall short rather than cutting it from the video

If you have enough subs and a solid rep for being unbiased, companies will make an effort to resolve issues and se t out updated versions for review.

I been wanting to get an ebike. I was thinking something you can ride around and maybe pull kids in a cart. What would you recommend. I was about to pull the trigger on a EuyBike S4 but some financial things happen so thats now on the back burner for a little bit longer. Gives me a little bit more time to research what I want.

I purchased a 48V 36 AH 2000 W DUAL BATT AND MOTOR Brand name SAMEBIKE based on your reviews of similar bike. Patiently waiting delivery. The price was $1999 X 2 purchased for me and my 13 yr son. No joke, the broken kickstand, the crash, and top it off it's not even that fast, the last bike he reviewed looks like a way better ride and deal even though it was only a single motor it went 45, ate up the beach and stayed stable even at high speeds, and was even cheaper

Hi, Q: what do you do with those ebikes after the reviews? Do you sell them or what do you do with those? You basically end up with hundreds ????
From what I have experienced in reviewing products, I believe the companies comp the bikes he reviews (i.e., they give him the bikes for free). Afterward, he is free to do what he wants with the bikes, he probably sells them.
The reason companies comp products is because it is too costly and time consuming to arrange for the products return. Moreover, companies treat the comp product as a tax write-off (typically as an advertising/marketing expense).
Side note: A company would be in significant trouble if it "expensed" the bike for tax purposes, but then got it back and then, for example, resold it.

Who's the mfg of the motor, and what's the model number?
My prediction for 2024 or 25: More geared motors above 1000w continuous, which will initially be available only through ebike dealers as part of a new ebike - with replacement done under warranty or at prices intended to out them out of reach of the diy market.
And 60v will start to reach way more bikes. Maybe a commercial 72v bicycle will be made.

Sounds like bullshit motor ratings, substandard controllers or bad setup.
1200w should not have an issue getting up that garage incline.
And 2400w should have better acceleration.
Right now, the bar is set at dual 750w, full suspension, hydraulic brakes, 35mph for $1500 or less.

Yeah, before I bought quality tools I had a number of Black & Decker powered screwdrivers. They are OK for light duty work. But as one should expect from that Company's products, they eventually go kaput. No worries on my end, I've always got my $20 worth out of those "use n' toss" tools.
