  • I take you along for the ride on a commute from The Mall, through Mayfair to Oxford Street on my Brompton S6L as London prepares for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. Filmed on my GoPro Hero 7 Black.

wow...Beautiful. My question is...is there any law or anything the building there has to be not more than fifth floor? All looks similer height. Very interesting. Beautiful place to ride a Brompton!

I’m pleased you like the video. Interesting question! There are no laws that I’m aware of (other than the St Paul’s Cathedral sight lines one in the City of London). I think it’s more likely just the age of the buildings and potentially not having the materials/ methods of construction to make a building much taller in those days. But I could be completely wrong!!

London is a great city, but lots of idiot and irresponsible motorists. Take care mate. Nice video showing your commute.

Thanks mate. We're pretty lucky with the segregated 'Cycle Superhighways' to keep us safer, but yes, there are a lot of scary drivers out there!!

@@cyclingthecity Cycle super highway is great but far behind than in Netherlands. I cycled in London few times and even I used the bike lanes, it is not connected and there are cars parked.

@@onebicycle3772 It's certainly not perfect, but is a good start. Hopefully things will continue to improve.
