actually the girl in blue dress don't know that while performing kathak she has to see in the direction of her hands...in whichever direction her hands move she has to see in the same direction and the girl behind is looking in the direction of her hands making her moves more graceful and sharp 🙂

What is the name of the girl at the back? She is so graceful…. Everything from hand to neck movement is soft and so graceful…. The way she is looking towards the hand is what makes a beautiful dancer ….. you should always look towards your hand …. Neck movement is a must in kathak …. All the best to both

One thing to keep in mind is - "Yatho Hasta Tatho Dristi Yatho Dristi Tatho Manah Yatho Manah Tatho Bhab Yatho Bhab Tatho Rasa" That means eye look should go on the hand gestures which will increase the intensity and graceness of dance.😊

I'm a kathak 5th year student and personally ruhaani you were performing too good but jab hastak kro haath sai toh haath ki taraf dekh kr kra kro that is the correct way. the girl next to you was doing perfect.im not telling that you were no making eye contact towards your hand but you were missing out sometimes.
