      Most of these songs are 'item songs' which are meant to be sexual and hot but there are many songs which have both pure and innuendo sides to it.
      If you take literal meaning of anything, I am sure you can make everything double meaning.
      Like the last song was not about the behemoth of the lover but rather the nature and personality of lover.
      Anyways except some 'item numbers songs' many are spiritual are healing.

    I’m Australian and went to university with an Indian student friend. She told me she didn’t like to listen to Indian music anymore. I asked her why? And she said because all they sing about is…. Love…. I said but western music is like that too. 😂 she just looked at me blankly. I guess something was lost in translation but I understand now 😅

    I'm an Indian 😂
    In school I had to sing a Hindi song for a prayer so i sang it. It was a kids song for Diwali. In it there was a line saying "Ayeega wo mere liye" that means "He will come for me" .I didn't know the meaning cuz my mother tongue is not Hindi . When I asked my Hindi teacher to translate she said the meaning and we burst out laughing 🤣🤣

    I felt exactly the same when I first heard those songs, especially choli ke pechay. My jaw just dropped, and I was like, how far these people will go, but then when I heard the second line, I was like, phew😅. The funny thing is that no matter how cheap of a language they used. All those songs were hit songs, and we still enjoy listening to it. Sometimes, when I'm listening to it in front of my friends, just for the heck of the music. It's very hard to translate it to them. My face will be the same as this girl in the video. By the way, she did a superb acting in it. I love it, and forward it to so many people 👏👏👏👏👏

      The songs have Urdu or North Indian words, twangs or phrasing which pass by Hindi "understanding" people. Bollywood is mainly based in Maharashtra, Mumbai, which speaks Marthi language, so its basically upthere with listening to gansta rap and just singing the chorus until you actually look the lyrics up.
