❤ the Icoa series from LD System ⭐️ Before i had the whole x-lite series from FBt, and now I own a pair of LD Icoa 15A Bt, and a pair of LD Icoa 15A Subs and can only say ( im amazed from the punch and the sound quality that is coming from this Icoa series speakers and subs, that is just wooowwww ) For a mobile Dj who doesnt need a sub, i highly recommend the Icoa 15 A Bt speakers, they realy got a bass punch in a dsp fullrange preset 💪🔊 Congratulations LD and adam hall group for the amazing products 💪

Yeah, you can run the subs coupled or just one depending on your needs. I know some guys that pair these subs with different top cabinets with success as well. It's a handsome package all together though.

Seems like LD is aiming for a piece of the market share. 53 lbs seems pretty heavy for a composite cabinet. Is that the correct weight? Is the magnet huge?
That is the correct weight. There's a lot more plastic for the molding involved in that particular speaker. The horn is relatively heavy as well, and that woofer is really large. The magnet on it is very very large. Places it right up there with the ekx and etx series from Electro-Voice though. They're very similar in that weight category. Healthy systems is definitely gunning for a large share in North America. And rightfully so, they really are the Porsche of audio equipment in the DJ world. A good example of that would be Porsche not including the back seats as a standard amenity button option, LD systems here made the casters for the sub and option. Usually standard fare for most subwoofers, but in this case it's an option. LOL
LD is a brand aimed at the budget end so is definitely not a 'Porsche', it's a mid range speaker at best.... I have the Icoa 12a and they're just too heavy I think and the highs can be harsh.

Can 2 ICOA 15A's Handle an out door garden party with 100 - 140 People? And if i add 2 ICOA SUB 18A's how many more can it handle?
It's more about the environment/room than guest, but two subs & two tops would handle 350 in a large room with ease.
Thanks for the fast respond! Suddendly i don't have the budget to buy the subs right now but up to how many people do you think just 2 ICOA 15A's would be able handle in a 15m by 20m garden? I'm in the process of filming it right now. The day after filming the video on these we got smacked by a winter storm and then 2 days later was Christmas. Haha
@@djtravismcguire Awesome! Looking forward to it! I have 2 ICOA 15A in my partyroom (450 sqft) and I‘m thinking about adding a sub. I‘m not sure if the ICOA 18 is adequate or if I should go a class higher to have enough headroom (mostly techno/House).

@@Claritysoundandlighting it will be ready Monday. I have my first event with the subs on Saturday so I can get real world use before I post my final thoughts.

Well, doing sound demos of speakers in CZcams videos has always been a little silly to me, simply because no matter how good the sound is coming out of these speakers, the sound coming out of whatever speaker you're watching on will degrade the sound.

Yeah, they are definitely heavy. They sound incredible though. One of the best sounding top cabs on the market.
