Ultima Weapon made Critical Mode a breeze honestly. Sure, maybe I cheesed it by doing NG+ with Ultima, but Oblivion is worth more than my pride.

Plus you get some advanced equipment with the emblems rather early.

I had kingdom key equipped for the whole game because it has the fewest clipping issues in cutscenes. Also being able to stock forms was amazing to discover.
Yes I am one of the few people who played KHuX. Frequently in the top 100 for lux gathering which was impressive considering I had only played the game for a year and a half and spent 0 money on it.
Ultima is just god-tier. Infinite swords, a shotlock screen nuke, and 13/13 stats make it my best weapon.

@@MegaSpideyman When weapons clash, the Kingdom Key is the only one I've noticed that DOESN'T have part of the enemy's weapon phase through it.
The classic tone has better stats
@@frostyobilivion8365 It has a better MAGIC stat. If we are going by raw stat boosts, Ultima is 1 bestter because it gives 13/13 for a total of 26 as opposed to 11/14 for a total of 25. That and Ultima's form change and shotlock are superior.
Oh gawd, i Remember me and my party destroyed the hierarchy in khux when we joined ursus and Stuck our keyblades in other parties butts. Sad we caught them out pretty late in the game, cheating by using bots and extra accounts, and Square let It slide.

Crystal Snow was one of the three I carried till end game. Great magic stat with a decent attack stat making your combos not as weak
I didn't really use it but it helped me beat that sufle or however it's spelled minigame that transformation made it so easy honestly was disappointed I didn't that I hadn't use until then.

Honestly, would love if you continued this series with the KH 358/2 Days keyblades. I mean, BBS and 3D too, but I always thought Days had some of the coolest keyblades.

Wheel of Fate: I got to scream DANCE WATER DANCE when used in combination with Waterga to wreck shit. And Ever After raining death down on everything that moves: yes. Also both have fun second forms and attacks.
Of note: I ALWAYS pick shield for my KH1 playthroughs, but because I prefer tanking shots to blocking them. A shield means nothing to me but being able to take a punch to the face lmao
I really like the Classic Tone. I've always liked the aesthetic of old rubberhose cartoons, so having a keyblade that harkens back to that in the same way that Timeless River did was a really cool reward in my eyes! Also, I love that the uncharged shotlock has a old timer effect, and the fully charged one has Sora hop through the Windows of Time form Timeless River.
you really nailed it with Ever After. I used that key blade so much after I got it just so I could have what felt like a second shot lock
I donât know how I like Hero's Originâs key form, but as Counter Shield, it RULES! Wrathful Flurry does disgusting amounts of damage!
0:35 you aren't incorrect, I mained Ever After so hard after I figured out you could infinitely loop the light bullet combos by cancelling the combo with a dodge right before the combo finisher that dissipates the clones
also having endless airtime because yeah it breaks a bunch of enemy attacks when you're floating too high up to touch
Ever After was just an awesome moveset, the movement helped too so... not unaccurate
edit: also I worked damn hard on getting Oblivion and Oathkeeper, so much so I burnt out and haven't started a dual-wield only game but when I do I am gonna be having so much fun
Fun fact about dawn till dusk. It was actually a 7-Eleven promotion in Japan, but Amazon kind of just took it for the international release. That's why the colors don't line up.

As someone who likes sword summoners...yeah Ultima weapon is dope as hell in KH3
I pick the kingdom key in the all the games because I really wanted to know what all the cutscenes looked like with it and because Sora doesnât use any other keyblade in the cinematics
I kept it in my 1st slot all game in kh3 but he randomly uses the shooting star in a sanfrantyoko cutscene by default. I was like woah that's new lol
@@JerryLecor agreed I was honestly shocked that they showed off Sora using another Keyblade other then the Kingdom Key for the first time especially since I always thought that the other keyblades he used were canon since he never uses anything else other then the kingdom key

That is absolutely why I stuck with Ever After for the entire game.

While Iâm a bit sad I couldnât get the Star Seeker design keyblades, I still loved my Advent Red because of the colors, plus itâs random grand magic ability wasnât so bad and it stacks with the âFull MP Blastâ for physical fighters like me.

Itâs not that bad. There may have been some sync issues with the cutscenes at times, but the graphics were still top notch.
My only problem would just be because my left controller is a bit worn out. Most likely because of either Bayonetta or Botw.

Yeah. Still, when I first played, I chose the sword and managed to beat the game _without_ leaf bracer.
Needless to say I chose shield in KH2, only to find out you get it on the same level all across the board.

Shooting Star, Happy Gear, Wheel of Fate and Crystal Snow are my absolute favorite new keyblades in KH3. The first is just the Gunslinger style from Devil May Cry realized, the second has it's other phase change from Go Go Gadget arms to Yo-Yos that rivals Kirby and Ness in terms of combat use, the third and it's keyblade transformation is a pleasant homage to the Dragoon class from Final Fantasy, and the last with it's other phase heavily reminds me of Odette from Bayonetta 1. Sadly, the final one can only be unlocked by completing Arendelle, and that world sucks because of two words: executive meddling(a lot like Chicken Little which surprisingly had the title character as a summon in KH2, and is useful in speedrunning). Ever After belongs in the honorable mentions because of vibes to the White Mage class from Final Fantasy like another class to the previously mentioned Wheel of Fate, the Dragoon. Hell, you can summon clones of yourself on a spire to annihilate the forces of darkness around you!

I'll have you know I used Wheel of Fate as much as I did purely for the first form transformation to pretend I was playing a Dragoon. I hardly ever moved onto Storm Flag, lol
Ultima weapon made me feel like a god. Like you know how Xehanort controls keyblades in the graveyard? Using Ultima's form change made me feel like that but less evil

Iâve made it a habit over the years, for every game itâs possible for, to only ever use the kingdom key until I get Oathkeeper. Then only use oathkeeper until I get ultima. But occasionally Iâll use Oblivion
KH 3 broke that with me only using Kingdom Key and Starlight as I played Union and did that event where you could unlock Starlight from the beginning of the game. Until I got Ultima Weapon. Then after Re:Mind came out did I go through the game on critical mode with Oath Keeper, Kingdom Key/Starlight(switched between the two every world or so) and Ultima
I literally did the same but with oblivion! I tried playing Oathkeeper (I actually like to call it Promise Charm because I think it's cooler and I think that's its Japanese name, but I haven't confirmed the translation for myself yet) for a while in KH1, but switched to Oblivion because it did better damage, and it got me through the final boss. My first KH3 playthrough will be with DLC pre-installed, so I might make it a critical with all the EZ codes (and skipping cutscenes. I'm just gonna mindlessly one-shot everything until I win and save the actual story for later on hehe) just so I can get Oblivion whenever.
At least I think that's how it works...
I hope you can do this for Birth by Sleep and Dream Drop Distance, too. These were good fun.

I beat the game with the starlight because my BF got his name in the union cross keyblade scene at the end of the game and it felt like I was beating the game with him
Iâm on the side of the fan base that truly loved KH3 and thought it was a fantastic game and an amazing conclusion for this arc of the story⊠I really donât understand how some out there were able to find it lackluster.
That being said, one big gripe I did have about the game: they completely jumped the shark on the keyblade designs. They used to be subtle but still realistic and cool looking - now itâs like they crammed in every reference to the Disney movie that they could think of, loaded it into a shotgun, and blasted it onto a basic keyblade template. Most of them just look dumb and I donât like to equip them because it just breaks any emersion I had in the game.
Also attractions. Really hated those too.
I do like ice, but I donât like snowman too much. What I do enjoy is wearing ice claws to completely tear into all of my opponentâs that will simultaneously turn into an awesome ice ski set that when fully charged drops a whole lotta ice on the entire fieldâŠalso I really like reworked blizzard spells, just sad that flow motion felt kinda nerfed as well compared to ddd

We all think the same thing now kh4 is announced. How many swords will the ultima be made of and how would it's form look like. And knowing their will be only 4 Disney worlds we all hope that they used Star Wars for the gummi ship missions so that we would have a great time and not get a lightsaber keyblade for fighting Sith Lords who can force choke us.

Its built-in Freeze Protection actually helped me win against YX, Vanitas, and MX during my first Re:Mind run. Claw mode lets you do the funny Firaga loops too.
....and I'm a massive Frozen fan so that probably also helps.
Ice skating and gliding were the real reasons I used Crystal Snow as long as I did
Xehanorts keyblade: youâre an edge lord who thought the keyblade of hearts, way to dawn and void gear are too tame. Or just felt oblivion could be pointier
didnât pre order the game so i never got to get it early.. though i genuinely got into khux after acquiring starlight during the endgame after the big anime moment w sora and the big stream of keyblades against the demon tide. i thought that scene went so hard, i almost felt obligated to add starlight to my regular rotation of keyblades. also love that it has my favorite situation command. i rly like second form, but the ancient light move for the second form s finisher looks so dope

My favorite keyblade in the series is the fully upgraded missing ache from KHUX but KHIII ultima is a close second because UNLIMITED BLADE WORKS

I used the crystal snow through most of my play through, its a blast to use.
I just discovered that there exists a Classic Tone keyblade to be unlocked, to think THAT was the only reason to play those classic kingdom minigames.
despite all of this, I love crystal snow above all simply because it can freeze and warp like I'm on inf sonic mode during crystal blades just by simply mashing RMB.
Man I didn't liked any of KH3 new swords except the Ultima one, they all looks like toys.
I ended up with the Kingdom Key the entire game.
I'll never find actual happiness, only happy gear.
Wheel of fate is my favorite cause my mom's a fisherman and I was around water alot as a kid and Dragoons in Final Fantasy are pretty rad.
As someone who actually beat the whole game with Starlight on my first normal mode run before Re:Mind came out Iâve actually never played KHuXâs main story. đ I only did the classic mini games on my phone because I wanted the pre order code for early access to starlight keyblade when the game released is all
