Dude first time or not, it looks great! And much respect to your girl for letting you use the garage. Wrapping outside is a pain in the a$$.
Yeah shoutout to her! I pretty much picked the windiest days to wrap. I was throwing F bombs every other minute lol
Props my man, came out pretty fkin good 👍🏻
I appreciate it brotha, I now see why wrap shop prices are the way they are. A lot of work that goes into wrapping!
Good job dude, looks smart!
Thank you 🙏🏽
I think you did an awesome job man good ish 🤙
I appreciate it brotha!
Good job young buck. You created a goal and you nailed it. Much respect
Thank you! Definitely felt good to finish the project. On to the next one!
i do some wrapping i would recommend wrap glove and solution you spray on the vinyl so the squeegee glides over
Thanks for the tips. I didn’t realize how useful the glove was till the end of my wrap. I was struggling with the squeegee lol
Good job bud! Ive been building a 76 Corvette Stingray and plan to wrap it myself. Been soaking up as much info that I can. Keep at it! Best thing about the wrap, yeah it may take some time to do, but its cheaper than a paint job and you can change your look to anything you want!. Dont like it.. rip it off and do a diff color/style!
Thank you, I appreciate it! My dad is currently restoring his 66’ Pontiac GTO and it’s coming along nice! Wrapping is definitely a great skill to have. Was not easy but after doing it picked up some techniques to make it easier the next time around
It looks great! there's tons of resources you should check out, a few videos would have had you avoid all of your mistakes, keep up the grind king!
Thank you brotha 🙏🏽 Im always learning!
Ditto what the other dude/comment said...I'm at your video because...I got next😅 good job for 1st timer!!! How's it holding up?
just gave me confidence to wrap mine
Do it brotha! Just take your time with prep and get a friend to help with the bumpers and you’ll be solid.
How did you wrap your door pulls?! Beautiful work!
Ha...I didn't realize that you would answer my question.
Thank you, I appreciated it! The actual handles were kinda tricky, just heated it and tried to get as much on in one go and just heat and work around the corners
You did great. I felt the same frustration you did trying to finish my first wrap on a Gen 2 Volt. I used to own a few window tinting companies, many years ago, so I had the concept of wrap pretty well down. Are you ready to do another one or are you done?
Yeah Im ready for another. I personally like doing these kind of projects. The only issue I had was getting the proper space to be efficient. It definitely demands a ton of patience and precision!
Can I ask the dimension of the roll you got brother? Planning to wrap my genesis as well. Thanks!
I got the 5x49ft roll. Should be more than enough. Ravoonys website also has the recommended dimensions for coupes and sedans
how is the wrap holding up?
The wrap is holding up great, no bubbling or peeling. Just had sole hot days in the sun and no issues. Just take the time to prep and clean off any dirt and you’ll be good.
@@midnightklub right on!
