3:50 - "She's slapping!" Yes, MISA is slapping...but she's also picking. She has her pick curled in her finger and changes from one form to another in about quarter of a nanosecond.
MISA said she dropped her pick a few times when she tried that curl in the early days but never drops it at all anymore. You know it, this is for those that don't.😁

@@jefffromchicago6321 Apparently she was. Her hands were all shaky then & she had less of an Assassins swagger & more of a meandering stagger....or so i've heard.😏
This was great, as always. I get excited every time I see a new addition of this series, especially when BAND-MAID are included. 👍
Now, to go check out the next installment.
The focus on Bass made me remember a comment someone made years ago when reviewing BAND-MAID he said "the bass is so heavy she's smashing tables with it".
This bassist picked up on MISA slapping on his first view.

@@Parker-- Yep i'm not saying he's not a good producer but the only other vid i saw him do he listened to 2 brief snippets of B-M's songs & said they were over compressed & he liked "Dynamics in music" & they had none. He decided there & then without giving them a fair shot that he didn't like them :(
Should have told him that Band-Maid are touring the U.S. this month and in August if he wants to see them live.
'Domination' LIVE is a good one. 'Real Existence' LOVE as well.

Great series, love it. But for bass players I'd show them Onset. Misa is highlighted a bit more.

When you bring on a bass player you should do a song, like Dice (among others), that has a bass solo in it.
Man for a Bass Player you have to start with Play rather than Domination!
Hey Joel! I wish this was mixed a little better, but WOW, Band-Maid is AMAZING! I am seeing them in 2 weeks, 2 days after I see The Warning, with Plush opening! WOW, what a week that will be!! Someone else here mentioned Asterism... the bass player is INSANE!

For me... DOMINATION is the best song for introducing BAND-MAID to new listeners... its just got that umfff factor about it☺️

It's funny he should mention Pantera. Floor has said in numerous interviews that her favorite band is Pantera!
Some complain about the mix of Domination Live...NEVERTHELESS it never fails to snare new fans, including musicians and industry professionals. I say the complainers need to get new firkin ears...or soundcards or something 🤔
I just wish this version of Domination had MISA a little more forward in the Mix.
