This guy gets it. He's great! I also don't understand why Moratorium isn't one of Band-Maids bigger songs. This should be played at every live show they do.
I don't understand why Band-Maid has 500k YT subs while Taylor Swift has millions. But hey, I can still get tix for Band-Maid for $25...
Because it was never released with an official MV. So most casual listeners never heard it.

Must-plays could easily exceed 20 songs because they have so many great ones...and then we would never hear 80%+ of their catalog live. It's a good problem to have.
“Moratorium” and “Clang” are both like that for me.
Oh I love him! Not only because he showed love for the maids, but because he did it for the best reasons: the groove, and the fact you can play their songs at any moment and it will always fit and let you in a very good mood 😀. Btw "Moratorium" is very popular with longtime die-hard fans, it's almost always in the top 10 list.
Moratorium is a very well known Band-Maid track. It kind of got a bit lost after the purge in 2020 not being an official released video.
Moratorium is one of Band-Maid’s best in my book.
This song was my introduction to Band Maid, about 5 years later and they own my musical world.
Just FYI, "Moratorium" is certainly not a "less popular" song amongst Band-Maid fans, on the contrary, I'm sure it ranks high on everyones top list.
It's just that there's no official video for it, so ordinary CZcams people (reactors) do overlook it.

Yeah, I swear this song used to be on their CZcams and they just cycled it off for some reason. But yeah, not really a deep cut I don’t think.

Of all the times I've introduced someone to Band-Maid, this is the one song that has never failed to send them on the road to being a maidiac. And this is the version I use.

And a great choice it is! This very performance was the second song I heard from BAND-MAID, and it instantly became my second favorite of theirs. My third favorite? Let's just say trying to organize my list of favorites became exponentially more difficult the more I listen to new BAND-MAID songs. Happy organizing everyone.
Moratorium is my favorite for sure. I had been listening to them for 2-3 months before I heard this song (I was taking my time through the albums in order after hearing the singles) and as soon as I heard it this was an instant tip top of the list.

When I was in high school Taproots Welcome album was one of my absolute jams. Still listen to it sometimes. I just saw Taproot guitarist and felt a wave of nostalgia. Take that how you will but I love Band Maid too so this is very good.
I think it’s only not as popular because it’s no longer on their official channel. Otherwise, it would be a top one. It’s one of my top songs!
Akane is the best drummer in music today. She and Misa are the power unit that drives Band Maid.

I have loved Moratorium for a long time now I have all their albums "digitally" and listen to the music straight from the albums when I am at home so I never realized that this song was not played much on CZcams but it comes up On my you tube music service pretty regular. None of my core group of friends, are into my music tastes which runs from Blues to Metal so I just go to concerts by myself or my wife comes with even if she is not into the bands I like. I have seen BM 2 times once At the House of blues, in Chicago and the next year at Lollapalooza.
The older stuff from Band-Maid is my favorite stuff(especially the live ones). There is another live version of this song(Moratorium), which to me is better(look for the 5 vertical video screens is the background). Also. try looking for older "live" versions of the songs: "Don't You Tell Me"(Misa & Kanami battle), "Take Me Higher"(Misa & Kanami go back & forth), "Puzzle"(Saiki & Miku harmonize great), "Clang"(Saiki winks at you half way thru the song), "Turn Me On"(Misa & Akane great intro). There are so many older live stuff from Band-Maid that is hard to find anymore because it was taken down. They have been together for over 10 years now, so they have a lot of songs.
The other live versions you speak of were recorded as the bonus DVD/Blu-Ray "Tour Autumn-Winter 2017 tour final on November 24, 2017, at Tōkyō, Shinkiba Studio Coast for the band's second album the World Domination DVD release. The reason it's not more popular is the Studio Coast release was from a limited addition single-run 2 DVD bonus edition of "World Domination" has been out of print since 2019. Still in print regular single DVD releases of "World Domination" do not include the live concert. Set lists for both the concert and DVD are also posted on various websites.

WOW, I have ignored Moratorium for some reason. But you are right - it rocks. A bit strange structure, making it a bit uneven. But on the whole, it rocks.
"Moratorium" is just one of those Band-Maid bangers that leads people to become Maidiacs. Then you listern to a bunch of "This is my New Favorite" Band-Maid songs and you forget about it for a while. Then you run across it again and it becomes your New Favorite!
Really, the Band-Maid ladies do not know how to write a bad song. Nothin' but net every time. I can't wait to see Robert react to Maximum The Hormone and see how he reacts to their "typical" transporter booth transitions.
"I can apply this to any part of my day" Taylor is a pretty cool cat, thoroughly enjoyed this. ....he's a Rocker! I dug how he didn't pick one instrument but the band as a whole being great. Like @JAF729 below stated "he gets it".
Of course you should introduce him to maximum the hormone! ... But each other band maid song will draw him deeper into the pidgeon hole 😅

Oh and Maidiacs pleas try and watch the movie Baby Assassins! NO the Maids are not in it, but a Maid Cafe plays a pivotal role in this comedy about misfit HS girl roommates who have to find p/t jobs as cover for their regular job as professional killers (one review calls it 'wholesome violence".

Moratorium isn't really a "deep cut." Although it was not released as a single, it still remains very much a fan favorite, especially live!

Yes he has great taste. Band Maid plays a very diverse array of rock tunes from beautiful acoustic ballads to speed metal like Black Hole, and all manner of prog, punk, thrash -you name it- in between. There are many Lovebite songs I skip, they are a bit hit and miss, not so with Band Maid over 120 fantastic compositions.
Lovebites do what they do extremely well, I love them, but c'mon Band Maid is THE best overall band in the world presently.

Not everyone is a groupie like the maidiac wolfpack bullshit.
I love both bands, and have their shirts, and both are the definition of a full on team that plays for each other, not just doing a job. That is what makes a group of musicians better than any of them by themselves.
... and he loved Lovebites a lot though. It says a lot. And I can't see the problem - he loves both bands but one resonate a little bit more to his taste, it would have suited me too if it was the other way around.

I am very sorry but I have never heard of Taproot, I have been raised listening to classical music and came across Bandmaid and Lovebites on YT by accident. This man's reaction to this song was sooooo good and really surprised me, so thank you. I will not say anything about the bands here because, I mean, what can be said of female musical goddesses.
