Update! Shortly after this video I tried launching at 3k RPMS and the car just bogged down, the clutch didn’t slip at all, it has tons of grip. I have yet to try the 2-step launch at 5k rpms I’ll keep you guys posted 🤙🏼
Update #2!!! I launched the f***k out of it at 5.5k rpms and it still bogged down, the clutch is so grippy that it outperforms the horsepower coming from the engine. I have more performance parts I need to install before I tune, once I do that, I will retest
Update #3 I discovered I had a massive boost and exhaust leak which was lowering my HP causing me to bog down, I fixed those issues and it launches a whole lot better. Launching at 5.5k rpms with the factory 2-step, I raced my brothers Supra and I just take off so quick off the line, on one of the launches I even spun the front tires, the clutch has loads of grip. We dig raced like 5 times a few months ago and the clutch is still working just fine.
