- I played chess against random people in front of the eiffel tower in Paris, with 1 min vs 5 mins, and if they won they’d get 20 euros. Hope you enjoy the video!

Hey guys! The first video had some issues with the board, so I re-uploaded it with a new chess board. Hope you enjoy the video :)
Thank you! You rock!
Hi 🙂 yea now it looks awesome 😄
If you can figure out how to do it, it would be cool to see the clock time in future videos.
That's way better haha
När kommer turnén till Sverige?
The old guy is actually really nice. Respect to him
Its fucking NicoChat2001
What does old have to do with it?
@@guptayush179 it's an adjective used to describe the person he's referring to.
@@MrShakes77 And how do you know that person is a guy? What if he's one of the other 121 genders?
He was a bit creepy. I wonder what her dad thinks after seeing that.
Anna: “I thought it would be a really nice setting”
Editor: I can fix that *puts chess board covering the tower
Lmao
Isn't that required or something? Maybe that's only in photographs, can't recall, but I remember watching a video about how you can't show the Eiffel Tower or you can get sued or fined or something.
@@chappYcast only at night will you get sued. Something to do with the lights on the Eiffel tower being protected under copyright but the actual tower itself isn't.
The first video had a tiny chess board and everyone complained about that too 😅
I blame the cinematographer.
First guy was pretty good actually for a casual player
I know I'm four months late, but I never expected to see a thrower here!
Iowa baby
@@roycevanbeethoven Sup fellow thrower!
yeah I'd say opening was solid. Tactics were a bit lacking tho
wow shocking that old people can also be nice
The second player, Nicholas was so wholesome and lovely. I'm happy he made the effort to meet you in the park and entertain us all!
watching Nicholas, you just the feeling that this game is so wholesome. Two different generations and nationalities connecting via some wooden models
And they are actually plastic. :)
They’re plastic pieces
Nicolas, in french :)

You can say that "wonderful moment" at the end of game with Nicolas was straight from the bottom of his heart
Nicholas is like that kid who gets excited by trains, but about chess.
That sentence gave me a garbage headache.
Got digital ebola from ur sentence
Let him cook..
*But about Anna. It was extremely clear he was excited by Anna, not chess.
I had the exact same thought lol
Anna is always so full of smiles and laughter it's hard not to love her. ☀️
Yes Anna is a real sweatheart!
Everyone is full of smiles and laughter when they're winning tho ;)
I guess so.she will be good mate at coffee time
it's called autism
Sometimes they seem fake
I've just recently started watching Anna and I've rarely seen anyone being so joyful and energetic. Hope she's keeping these vibes throughout life🤩
We need more positiv girls and boys!

She's young. Wait until she gets beaten down by life, then she'll turn into a bitter curmudgeon like myself.
because you are in the chess environment lol, on the street there are plenty of positive people 0:-)
loads of people like that, but rarely intelligent.. so she's very unusual. The two professional badminton players at Badminton Insight people are also intelligent energetic and joyful.
Nicholas is finnaly showing what a true french is ! So happy you did not just meet only grumpy parisians !
Typical grumpy comment on parisians from a non parisian ! :D
@@ogamiitto8627 J’ai pas re-regardé la vidéo pour ce commentaire mais on est d’accord que Nicholas est Parisien ? Nicochess2001 was super nice and positive. Just a wonderful person & obviously super-jazzed to play against one of his chess idols (I would be too if I had that chance). Of course he wasn't going to win, but I was rooting for him to win anyway. Still what a great memory for him to cherish!
He’ll clearly cherish that sneaky picture he took every night. Such an inappropriate old man.

Playing chess with the Eiffel Tower as the backdrop on a sunny day with the occasional cool breeze giving a sense of peace and calm, laughing , telling stories, being young and and creating memories, for that little time we have..... how beautiful life is and how little it takes to be happy...
I totally agree
so beautiful
What a lovely way to talk..
Calming isn’t it
Watching these chess channels is so addictive it's like coding (what I should be doing) way into the early morning. A minute per move is what I'd need. Great set of games. Will have to re-watch in slow-mo.
Nicholas is an absolute legend
Man Nicolas was such an awesome guy, and you could tell he was so happy to play you! that made my day, and probably his :D
I stumbled upon your video and it's heart warming to see someone spreading good vibes like you! keep it up
Yeahh, it’s so heartwarming to see someone spreading good vibes!! Btw what’s a common phrase that u guys use in chess? Also, I heard that move like F3 in the opening is really dirty bad. I’m new to chess and I’m looking forward to learn how to play with someone in this interesting game😊
@@LouisCheng09 "play someone in chess" is a common phrase. You're just wrong, not everything has to be dirty.
@@eastonarnett2050 Owh okayy, thanks for teaching me that common phrase in chess. But why am I wrong tho? Not every chess move has to be dirty u mean? I don’t quite understand what you intent to say..
@@LouisCheng09 yeah sure. You edited your comment that used to say "you prolly shouldn't say "play someone" because it's uhhh UHHHH just maybe to avoid that confusion use "play at" or "play with" instead". It's obvious what you were saying

Anna has the personality of that one waitress who every guy secretly thinks is flirting with him.
Man that second guy is a lot of fun. The two of them laughing the whole game is fun to watch. Be great checking out the Eiffel Tower and see two people laughing playing chess.
The second guy was fun, very refreshing to watch chess fans and players getting along.
I know probably Anna's best quality is how good at chess she is, but I still cannot process how someone can be so charismatic and nice. The guy was so nice too!
Really great content. I don't follow you a lot, but every time I see a video by you I really like it. A great energy and love for chess. :) Good luck and keep doing what your doing! :)
As a french i love to see the 2nd man motivating himself to go there and following you , and i'm not in chess that much but sometimes ytb is like "you should see that" and i'm always hapilly suprised

I love your energy, you are so positive. Nice to see people like you
that second match was so cute! i am so happy he found you!
Great video. I felt sorry for Nicholas - he forgot to press his chess clock a few times.
Top tier content, my game with Anna still remains my favorite chess
Anna is so much fun. What a gift she is.
Great content and setting, it would be very cool to play like this against you
I watched a previous video on 1.5 speed and forgot it transfers to the next one too and it seemed like everyone were playing super fast haha
If someone gives you 20 bucks for a win and gives you five times the time she has....
Just leave the place 😂

You have been coming up in my feed a lot lately. And this was definitely my favourite video so far. I would definitely play if i would see this haha. Awesome 👍👍
This is awesome POG content Anna! Nice going!
Anna, you do a fantastic job at enthusiastically sharing the activity you love with the world. 🎉. I do not know this for sure but I suspect that you have introduced some people to chess who otherwise would have never gotten involved with chess. Gift-giving season is all year round.
The 2nd player was lovely! 👍
Love this video! Anna is very confident, those are crazy odds!
I like how Anna Cramling is always smiling which makes me wanna smile too
Sweet smile yah.
13:00 you can see the old man again in the background lol...he was funny, energetic and sweet

Not watched Anna for a while. Now she has more positive energy, keep it going!
I would've paid 20$ just to sit there and talk with her. She's amazing
Nooo dont say that, sounds desperate af

That game against Nicholas was pretty cool to see. You don't usually see people get that excited over chess
I really am surprised how just being friendly, and polaying chess to anyone can be just a nice wholesome thing to watch... i am so surprised... but more surprised because I do not have these kind of interactions with anyone. Clearly I am missing something.. Keep up these cool videos.

It's so funny seeing the last guy who's used to playing online . I was the exact same the first time I played poker in a game with real cards, chips, etc. Playing online for 15 years doesn't teach you that stuff.

I would have to wonder if Anna has ever felt uncomfortable playing someone in chess? She plays pretty much anyone….you have to think there was a moron or two she has come upon.
Great content. She conveys a lot of positive energy.
It was really uncomfortable that time she played a Mexican guy and he threw up on the board and passed out
Yeah also when she was playing the chinese guy got mad and shit on the board
she once played a viet. started eating him after the plane, that they were playing chess on, crashed. she won by the rare en passant mate
You clearly forgot the peruanian guy who literally started to eat every piece he won and once he saw the the mate coming he stood up spit on the board, kicked it from the table and ran away screaming so loud. The echo was so loud all people in the arena started to hold their ears. At the end one guy started the slow clap and all people suddenly clapped and gave a standing ovation. Unforgettable
What about that German guy who just stared at the board, then smiled briefly, told her he forgot just about everything and went home. At home he wept as he read old e-mails he exchanged with a long gone loved one, then found consolation in reading Adam Zagajewski's poetry and passages from a forgotten book by a modernist Slovenian author. He proceeded to brew green tea, drank a cup, fed the cat and went back to Anna and her chess board, but she was long gone. He lay on the grass and looked into the few stars one could see in the midnight sky. "I might as well sleep here", he thought, feeling the still warm summer breeze on his skin.
