That 2006 performance against Blake was INSANE!
Blake smashed like everything at him and Federer managed to counter his brutal shots with ease. Insane level in 2006!
Blake basically says he was tailor made for Federer, but what a treat it provided the fans.
Agreed. Blake mostly destroyed the ball with his full power, and Federer was just like a steel wall that returned even harder back to the shooter.
Yes, without a doubt the highest level.
iconic roger, we will all miss him, there is truly no one like him😢😢😢
Damn right. Tennis will never be the same anymore
That match against Djokovic in Shanghai, now that’s old school fast tennis from Federer we’ll never see again. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
While Federer stayed in tour I felt that I am still young and I am 41 the day he announced his retirement was one of the most terrible days in my life ((
Miami 2017 was on another level. I stayed up until 3am to watch that match - a few neighbours were definitely disturbed that evening.
His grace on and off the court is unparalleled. He's why tennis became popular again.
Es cierto!!
It's incredible the way he makes it look so effortless... In his movement, in his strokes, it's amazing. Players are lumbering around the court, grunting, you can hear all their exertion. Federer barely makes a sound. I will always be in awe of him for that reason.
Federer’s forehand on his younger years was a 💣, power precision, angles.
Simply the best all around forehand in the game
Such a stellar legendary ending career for Roger. Feel very lucky to be alive to witness his greatness and brilliance over the past 2 decades. He will be remembered for a lifetime. #RGforever
Nice to see the Agassi & Safin highlights included. Incredible tennis on fast courts against some superb players.
31:41 Cincinnati 2012 was truly special, he hasn't been broken in the whole tournament.
Wasn't that the 2015 tournament?
@@jacobsimangan7031 Amazingly, it was both.
18:25 that Kyrgios look. Memorable
that fed kyrgios 2017 miami match is top quality
Defs one of best BO3 matches ever
One thing I will miss about Roger is his magnificent net play. We don't see it much in the tour nowadays. It's what makes his matches very entertaining.
I didnt remember the match against Kyrgios being that intense. 2017 was such a good year for Roger.
The Kyrgrios match and the Rome final of 2006 have to be Federer's two best ever ATP matches in terms of the best match.
The level against Blake was insane, as was the Djokovic match in 2010, watching him nearly double bagel Murray in London was quite something.
What a player, and what a career. 👏👏 Federer's retirement leaves an unfillable hole in the world of tennis. He will be missed.
Keep the Fed content coming! Pretty good from Tennis Tv.
Many delightful gems in this compilation. Shanghai 2014, baby! Maestro carved him up that day. Outstanding.
GOAT
Vs Nadal (Hamburg 2007)
Vs Nadal (Miami 2005)
Vs Gaudio (Masters 2005)
Vs Wawrinka (ATP Finals 2014)
I'd add Djokovic (WTF 2019) and any match from his Cinccy run in 2015
Classic games! Always enjoy watching in whole tournaments.

The magic of One handed backhand
You know, for as disjointed as it may be that Tennis TV doesn’t have rights to grand slam footage, I actually really enjoy the fact that they show you some slightly lesser-known matches and points because of this. Otherwise this list would’ve probably just been riddled with well-known GS matches like Wimbledon 2007, AO 2017, RG 2011 and stuff.
Le meilleur, la classe et tout et tout tellement il va me manquer...
19:39 Unreal!
Miami 2017 is probably THE greatest best-of-three tennis match across generations. It had everything. Insane!
I was expecting the Australian Open final of 2017 against Nadal to be in this top 10. I'll never forget that match.
This is just a top 10 of ATP matches, Grand Slams don't count
that match at Indian Wells 2017 against Nadal was an absolute clinic. I've never seen him decimate Nadal like that, Federer just was on point that day, I truly believe nobody in their prime could have taken him the way he was hitting the ball. I was fortunate enough to be there live and in person for that one and it remains the only time I have seen Federer play (aside from practice a couple times).
Tennis goat
To me there are no top 10 memorable Roger matches because his ENTIRE CAREER is memorable
"THE GREATEST MAGICIAN OF TENNIS" - ROGER FEDERER.
vs Berdych, Toronto 2010
vs Agassi, Maters cup 2003 round robin
vs Mayer, Shanghai 2014
vs Wawrinka, Masters cup 2014
And although he lost, vs Nadal at Rome 2006, vs Djokovic at Paris 2018.
The streets will never forget 2017 Roger
We love you Roger! ❤
That shot at 2:33 was so out!
12:20 - it seems to be little bit painful, to catch Roger's serve with legs😁😬
Roger. Fantastic
3:43 Had never seen a 14-15 scoreboard ahahhaha
We'll miss you Roger
I'm crying again..
Where is federer vs djokovic at 2019 nitto atp finals ? That was an iconic performance
Of course Federer is incomparable, but this is all at an insanely high level, so few unforced errors from anyone, it's the absolute cream of tennis from all the players.
List here
Federer vs safin 2004
Federer vs Agassi 2003
Federer vs Nadal 2017
Federer vs Djokovic 2014
Federer vs kyrgios 2017
Federer vs Nadal 2011
Federer vs Murray 2014
Federer vs Blake 2006
Federer vs Djokovic 2012
Federer vs Djokovic 2010
What i mean by that is that Federer has that “swagger” about him 99% of the time, when he walks around and has that “look” about him, that makes everyone bend their knee…it’s in the body language! But when he plays Safin, Nalbandian and Nadal the roles switch!
Lol wrong. Federer is a better player than each one of them
@@initialize21 This is not about who is better…ayou are not paying attention…
Super consistency all throughout his career, dominating his fellow players during his prime and doing the same regularly and at least imposing big challenge to his much younger rivals during his 30s. Just shut it about the weak era shit.
This is the weak era right now
I have to be honest, I was one of those people saying Roger had it easy, weak era etc. But when I look at tennis post Wawrinka Murray and other veterans (let's say 2018-present) it really seems that this at the moment is the weak era...
@@Nikica40 2010-15 was the strongest with Wawrinka, Murray, and even Ferrer (a lot of people forget about him because he didn't win a slam) in addition to the big 3. The weakest era (or at least the weakest era I have been alive to see) is 2018-21; I'm disappointed in the generation of Medvedev, Zverev, Tsitsipas. With the exception of 2021 US Open, they have never been able to step up on the biggest stage and repeatedly get bullied by 35-year-olds, which is inexcusable. Now we have the even younger generation of Alcaraz, Ruud, Sinner, and hopefully these guys don't disappoint me like the current generation did. Alcaraz won the US Open, so so far so good.
@@user-cn1lp6vz6p In a couple years it hopefully won't be. Alcaraz, Ruud, and Sinner will improve.
@@viksinha5410 yes, you’re right
btw, talking about the nextgen, one of the biggest joke is Dimitrov, I’m very disappointed with him
where is the match vs. Nadal @ Hamburg 2007?
Not having final of Hamburg 2007? Roger snapped Rafa's claycourt streak and ended with bagel
match against rafa in indian wells has got to be the best, cause rafa was in pretty great shape and form too
💔🐐
RForever
its just atp right?
cause a lot of GS matches are missing.
Safin, Nalbandian and Nadal were the only players who weren’t overwhelmed by Federer’s intimidation aura back in the day! Federer basically “bossed around” everyone else, but those three didn’t care!…
Please another top ten 😭😭😭
No 3
Number 1, and I say this as a Serbian
Korda is playing well
Good!! But the Grand Slam Finals? Wimbledon 2007, Australia 2017?... come on!.....
FEDERER WAWRINKA ATP FINALS 2014 ALSO
Absolutely ✅
Should just retitle this "Federer Dominating the ATP Finals and Some of His Other Good Matches."
Even when losing those three always looked like winners next to him!…
Fed vs Nadal Miami 2005?
How tf is French open semis 2011 not in here
Tennis
Wimbledon 2019 final...the best match ever!
26:06 ... Roger farted xD xD
it was a sad to not put cincinnati 2015
Imagine having so many insane performances it’s impossible to pick 10 lol thats how good this guy was
No wimbledon 2007 and 2008??????
Novak on his fav surface really had no clue in shanghai 2014, cincy 2012, 15, dubai 2015 and WTF 2010...roger needed that type of courts to expose novak's defensive game... Novak after his shanghai 2014 said that he played really well but still ended up on losing side.. Most of roger's losses were on his racket
I wouldn't say most of his losses were on his racket, but I can certainly name a whole bunch, especially in grand slams. The only regret I have about Wimbledon 2019 is that if he had won that, everyone would shut up about 'weak era'. But for someone who won 20 majors, I doubt that that will affect Federer that much, unlike Wimbledon 2009 for Roddick or French Open 2004 for Coria.
@@viksinha5410 yes my argument was also mostly in line with grand slams.. Wimbledon 2019 is the toughest loss I would say... No sportsmen should ever face such a heart breaking loss.... Being a better player in the entire match but still ended up on losing side... Another heart breaking loss was AO 2009...that match should have got over in 4 sets or even 3 sets but he stretched the match till 5 sets and lost it as well... Same goes for wimbledon 2019 where he could have won it in straight sets and the list goes on
@@vijayendranvijay4538 Djokovic was better in crucial stages. If Federer can’t keep his level in the important moments, he deserved to lose…
@@NamTran-xc2ip yes I didn't deny that...one player choking makes other player look strong in crucial stages...its more of Roger's fault than novak's brilliance...
@@vijayendranvijay4538 Oh please. That is ridiculus statement. Djokovic literally made no unforced errors in either of 3 tie breaks of 2019 wimbledon final. It is not Roger choking. This is Djokovic being errorless when it matters most, but you fangirls would never admit it.
1st ?????
Where is the best match in history (Wimbledon F 2008). You kiddin right ?
Always root against Nadal
utterly pointless to make such a list when you dont have the rights to include GS footage/inclusions. At least cut the "Top"
The video title states that its ATP matches
