    I am late to this as it's 2 years old but this is the exact video I needed. I spent so much money on a beautiful aquascape but got slammed with work and life that I did not keep up with trimming my tank. It's completely overgrown and I didn't know how i should go about trimming it as i didnt want to kill it by doing too much of a prune. This video took those worries from me and know it will be ok as long as i keep taking care of it. Subscribed and looking forward to watching more videos.

    I need to see this aquarium from the right side to see how high the soil is relative to the length of the stem plants.

    • @NORIaquaCh
      @NORIaquaCh Před 3 lety +1

      Official WASABI Moderator: Not very high, the soil is about ~15cm high at the back on this scape.

    If after cutting the stems remaining are bare without leaves, will it grow back? Or should they require to be removed before replanting the healthy tops? Thank you.

    • @NORIaquaCh
      @NORIaquaCh Před 3 lety +3

      Official WASABI Moderator: Dear Cherry, yes, it will regenerate and grow an new node, as long as the stem is healthy and you didn't trim too short, 5cm stem from substrate is minimum. You shouldn't need to remove them to replant. Hope this helps you!

    I have planted emersed Rotala H’Ra and Rotala Green , when do I trim these plants ?

    • @NORIaquaCh
      @NORIaquaCh Před 3 lety

      Hi Adulla, if they are emersed (out of the water), then no trimming is required, unless you wish to maintain it at a certain height. - Official WASABI Moderator.
