Meet The Worst Players In NFL History...

- Throughout NFL history, there have been some downright TERRIBLE NFL players, so in this video, I thought it would be interesting to look back into NFL history to find who the worst NFL players are from each decade. But which NFL player is truly the worst, is up to you. Anyway, if you enjoyed this video, then like and comment if you want, and you can even subscribe if you think I've earned it.
So if you want to know which NFL player is better between super bowl champions Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady, then you should find out who is the worst player in NFL history. After the top 100 NFL players, in 2022 were released, there were many NFL history videos on the worst NFL players of all time including a video on the NFL from every decade. But the videos on NFL football players were informative so I can't complain.

2:19 meant to say 1970s, I hope you all can somehow find it in your heart to forgive me 😢
LOL …. I guess I can get over this offense, as long as it never happens again.
No
Be better. Double check. Spend hours watching the video you just made to fix every flaw. Simple really
I forgive you 👍
I enjoy your videos. Tell TubGirl I said what's up?....
2020’s: zachary wilson
Isaiah Wilson is probably the worst Wilson of the 2020s by far, but Zach is definitely going to be up there.
@@ccbpixel1552 what is it with Wilson’s sucking in the 2020s
@@ccbpixel1552 zach let his defense down hard in foxboro
No probably like deshun watsom😊
2020’s bill Cosby
in defense of Tim Couch, he actually had moments and was their most capable quarterback, but playing behind a 2000 Browns O-line will crush even the best player.
Tim Couch really wasn't that bad. Like you said, he had a bad line in front of him that let him get absolutely crushed.
Dude! This video just answered a question I've had since the 80s. I vaguely remember watching a game where Walter Payton came in to play quarterback. Turns out it was this one! I do remember McMahon getting hurt, but Rusty Lisch is entirely forgettable obviously. Just remembered Payton doing the single wing and I think attempting a few decent passes as well.
This game resulted in my favorite ever madden card, Walter Payton at qb in madden mobile 25😂
Just a quick note: the Wonderlic test is not used to measure the quarterbacking abilities, but cognitive abilities in general - and is widely criticized for not being really useful anyway when assessing players' ability to succeed in the NFL (somewhat akin to the 40 yard for Olinemen - when does an Olineman have to run 40 yards in a game?). Just a couple of names and scores: Brett Favre 22/50; Michael Vick 20/50; Daunte Culpepper 18/50; Dan Marino 16/50; Terry Bradshaw & Steve McNair 15/50; Donovan McNabb & Jadeveon Clowney 14/50; Bobby Wagner 9/50; Derrelle Revis 4/50 - on the other end you have WR Kevin Curtis with 48/50. Can you remember him?
I actually do remember him, he was somewhat decent. Point stands though, you're right. The Wonderlic isn't the most effective way to determine cognitive abilities for football players.
@@HenryDaNinth Then you alrady know him better than me :)
@@bioLarzen not much besides a couple highlight plays with the rams and eagles. Shame he wasn't better, dude had a 4.35 at the combine to go with that 48 on the Wonderlic
@@HenryDaNinth See, told you that you know much more about him than I do :D
Jokes aside - if prior tests and combine results could precisely forecast a guy's ability to succeed in the NFL the term "draft bust" would not exist, would it?
@@bioLarzen exactly man. It's amazing in many different ways to see the amount of athletic potential come and go through the league as the years go by
Let's not forget Isaiah Wilson
True leatherwood also has a case
That was crazy. Dude played one snap, lol
@@MBarberfan4life three snaps, actually. Four if you include the snap on special teams.
I love how the picture of Tom Brady continues to get more and more tape on it
What a great picture of Boris Shlapak at 3:16
Boris’ final form
This man deserves way more subscribers
In time, he'll get there. I remember when UrinatingTree was under 10k subscribers. Now he's on the mount rushmore of CZcams football content. The cream will always rise to the top
Thank you for letting me know whose jerseys I need to go buy! ✊🏻
I can’t believe that there’s not just browns players
The Brown's were unbelievably good in the 1940's, 1950's, and 1960's this was before the "superbowl era", but during those decades the Brown's won 8 championships (including 5 in a row), really good in the 1970's (but faced the 1970's Steelers), good in the 1980's (usually a play-off team), and disappeared/reappeared in the 1990's.
Expecting them to be on this list a bunch of times really just shows a modern bias and your unwillingness to understand the past.
You cannot convince me bob timberlake isn’t just Mac jones Time traveling
Dude I love your channel!
I love these videos thanks for making all the history of the nfl these are awesome
Keep up the amazing content
What a fun video. 😂 Timberlake’s 0 - 14 field goals is insane.
Bengals fan (and new Subscriber) here! Funny note for the Akili Smith story. One of the picks that the Saints offered turned out to be the pick that was used to draft Drew Brees. So, not only could the Bengals have drafted Drew Brees instead of Carson Palmer 2 years later, but the Saints "technically" didn't lose that draft pick, they just loaned it out for a few years.
Drew Bress was drafted by the San Diego Chargers but signed with the saints as a free agent
Bro, Brees came to NO as a Free Agent.
@@KatarHero72 Trace the pick that drafted Drew Brees back to the beginning. It was originally owned by the Saints.
Another tub frog classic
I love the slowly growing amount of tape on the tom brady photo
This video is great. Please do a video on 80s bare foot kickers. Rich Karlis missed a lot of kicks
That Gumball picture you put in! 😂🤣
How do you have less than 30000 subscribers you are great
Randy Hedberg's stat line just looked like Russell Wilson this season.
Hey dude i just found your videos, I’m a HUGE sportshead watching this kind of content all day long. I wanted to say bro KEEP IT UP your shit is AWESOME and funny too. Just wanted to say you are well on your way to a million subs AND dollars.
Ummm,...his name was Achillies. This guys name is Achillies. His winning script was writing itself before he ever stopped crapping his nappies & tripped over the first football to wobble his way.
Spergan Wynn thanos bit might be the funniest thing I’ve ever seen
I can't believe we're having a conversation about worst NFL players and Ryan Leaf isn't even in the conversation.
There is no rock bottom; there is always a bigger shovel.
How dare you Ryan Leaf is the Goat. Did you not see how polite he asked those reporters to stop bothering him or how generous he was throwing all those interceptions so other teams could win. I mean why did this man never win the man of the year award. He should be inducted into the NFL hall of fame just for his generosity.
Naw but for real though Ryan Leaf was hot garbage. Surprised he's not on the list. 😁
That’s funny how the Saints were willing to give up their entire draft picks for Achille Smith. And the Saints didn’t want Smith. The Saints gave up their entire draft picks to Washington to draft Rickie Williams
I believe that Ken McCaffee, who was selected in the 1st round in 1978 by the San Francisco 49ers, should have been ranked, along
with an Arizona Cardinals wide receiver ,Clyde Duncan, who was selected in the 1st round in 1979. Larry Carroll
I was actually at that Steelers-Browns game for the Imperfect Season. Noted Notre Dame legend DeShon Kizer was the Brownies QB.
NFL Legend. Only QB to ever go 0-16 as a starter in a season
Idk Tom Dilfer has been really bad for 2 decades
As a browns fan this is painfully accurate lmao
8:35 The Saints must have been out of their mind 😂😂😂
I love my mans is in a dorm room dropping fire about the nfl
The fact that he doesn’t have a mill subs is disgraceful
Christian Hackenberg. I know we don't want to value draft position too much here, but its absolutely incredible how a second round pick couldn't make his way onto the field for a single regular season snap and fell out of the league completely in 2 and a half years. I'm sure the worst player in reality is someone without any stats at all, an UDFA that was part of the first cut in training camp and never resigned to another team, but how in the hell do you not take a single regular season snap as a 2nd round QB on the Jets? Just look through the list of starting Jets QBs since Mark Sanchez and bask in the complete abyssal void of talent, and all of those dudes got infinitely more gametime than Christian Hackenberg.
TubFrog>>>> any other CZcamsr
As a Browns fan, I would like to apologize for the disturbing image of Johnny Manziel playing football in the NFL….
That Cory Coleman touchdown you show shouldn’t have even counted. I watched that game, they proved afterwards that his foot was on the white during the catch.
Y’all not finna tell me bob timberlake ain’t just Mac jones look exactly like em😭
Probably the worst thing to happen is put center at qb because center throws the ball backwards all game so he has somewhat a arm if your whole team sucks
Spergon the Surgeon! We love Spergon in Cleveland, he’s like a mythical folk hero among the fan base
Don’t be so rough on Timberlake he raised a hell of a singer.
im convinced this dude dont sleep with blankets
If my quarterback has a name like rusty lisch I’m seriously questioning how much I believe in him to take a snap. Let alone move the ball. 😂
After some reflection if the only quarterback we could count on was a rusty lisch I would be prepared to still use him as a meat shield for a lead block and trust him a little bit
2010s: AJ Jenkins, 49ers 1st rd pick never even recorded 1 catch in 2-3 seasons 😮
Yoooooo! The They wanted there running back to play quarterback instead of their quarterback to play quarterback part 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂💀💀💀💀
After glossing over Rusty Lisch in my QB video I feel stupid for not grilling him harder
13:05 "off to Canton you go"
Being hard sleeper is a bad excuse. I personally set multiple alarm clocks
How do you leave Ryan leaf off your list.
Anyone excited for ' The Full Recap of the NEW Weirdest Season Ever'?
Danny Watson. Eagles drafted him in like 2014 I think and he was 26-27 and when they drafted him there was a huge push to incorporate him being a firefighter and becoming an nfl player.
That was almost the only analysis from the draft commentators.
I can’t remember exactly but I think he didn’t even finish one game for the Eagles. I might be wrong on that.
When he got drafted I decided to buy a Corey Coleman jersey😭
The same Corey Coleman killed the Cleveland Browns Franchise. And now the NFL version of C***D-19
Matt Elam was one of the worst DBs on an NFL field I have ever seen.
@3:15 -3:16 flash
No way they turned down that trade for Akili Smith. Some franchises have no grip on reality.
I think Nathan peterman is also a candidate to consider
So Rusty Lisch is the whole reason as to why Ditka tried to make Mike Tomczak happen.
Anyway, here are some guys who could have made the list:
- Jim Druckenmiller
- Andrew Walter
- Dan McGwire
- Todd Pinkston
- Trent Richardson
- DeShone Kizer
Moe Howard called. He wants his hairdo back.
Bob Timberlake was horrible, I thought we had a chance that year, but nope, Bob made sure of that😔😔😔
I know he threw my whole fantasy team that year
A little unfair to randy hedberg as he was a 4th string rookie undrafted out of a naia d2 school on possibly the worst team ever
Nathan peterman 🐐
dont think i didnt catch you lackin at 3:16
10:13 that's not fair, the Jags were perennial contenders back then
true but they were like 7-9 that year so i went for the kill
Ryan Leaf. Worst. NFL. Player. EVER!
best video by far
What about Trent Richardson to the browns ?
Therapist - Tom Cruisey isn't real, he can't hurt you
That photo behind you...
Walter payton playing QB is cursed lol
I'd put Ryan leaf as the worst for the 90s
Just to show how inept the 'New Browns" were is to listen to the commentary of Chris Palmer to Brian Billick in pregame when Billick asks "who the hell is this Spergon Wynn guy you drafted?" and Palmer is like "Oh yeah, this dude is talented, you passed on him." and Billick is like "who the hell are you talking about?"
Just shows how bad and pathetic the early Browns were. It was a dark time for any Browns fan.
That haircut is rough 😂
Akili Smith was so bad he’s even forgettable as a post-Boomer, pre-Burrow legendary Bengals Draft Bust. David Klingler, Peter Warwick and John Ross were at least hilariously bad.
So did the bears accidentally invented wildcat 7:01
Not even an honorable mention for Jamarcus Russell?
Corey Coleman is basically worse than Charles Rogers.
BTW, the Cleveland Browns team is expelled and cancelled by the NFL.
2005 Vikings first round pick Troy Williamson was pretty awful. He was supposed to be Randy Moss's replacement, but had the worst case of butterfingers you'd ever seen. I find it ironic that the Vikings would make an Al Davis-like decision (being overly enamored with how fast a guy can run while not knowing whether he can catch a ball or not - I'm looking at you, Darius Heywood-Bey) with the draft pick that they got FROM the Raiders in the Moss trade following the 04 season 🤣😂🤣
Bob Timberlake? Is that Justin Timberlake‘s Dad?
As a Raiders fan……JaMarcus.
To be honest I’m surprise he didn’t put JaMarcus Russell is the worst 2000s player
Jamarcus Russel????
Carson tinker has left the chat btw I know not a single person in the whole entire world knows who the heck that is.
TubFrog is trying to brainwash me in this video...don't think I didn't notice
Jeez, Rusty's my man. To be subbed out of your position,..... specialist position, by a player that isnt specialising in that very position, well, there's some kind of upsidedown, reverse world magic to that.
God bless America.,....
God save us all 🫡
You should cover the CFL during the FLUTIE & GARCIA sort of 1990s era. The CFL was the guiding force behind the NFL's sudden AIR RAID attacks the following decade if you ask me.
GARCIA was better than FLUTIE, and what about DAVE DICKENSON, who was GARCIA's replacement?
He ends up in TRAINING CAMP with FLUTIE & DREW BREES in 2002 in San Diego. Dickenson's stats looked great in the preseason, his career in the CFL is legendary as well.
CFL has garbage QB's now compared to the 1990's & 2000s decades.
CFL was so much better than it is now, back then. NFL hoards all the arm talent it seems.
3 down football is so much fun though.
U need a more memorable logo because u get lost in my sports shoes on the beginning page
Raider's indused trauma
Ryan Lindley is the worst QB to start a playoff game
Jamarcus Russell
Ryan Leaf
Jamarcus russell
A 40.6 qbr isn’t that bad for a 48-0 blowout.
Tom brady better be on this list along with kapperdick
7:55 and yet Lamar Jackson scored a 13 and nobody thinks that’s an issue apparently 😂 Wait until his athletic ability declines and he actually has to learn how to read a defense. 🥴
Why Bob Timberlake look like Justin Timberlake 😂
Rusty must be the bears what? Fourth best qb? McMahon, Payton, and cocaine bear, jay cutler? Ok fifth, fifth
Wonderlic has nothing to do with football. It's just a general iq/aptitude test
Tom
Here before bots lol
