- Lila Girl of The Year 2024 was released in such a haphazard way and I rant about the “launch party” on October 7th.

I think early holiday shopping is the way that works cause the prices are low and the items will come in time
I think they should have waited till Jan to release Lila. And yes since they decided to release her early then, they should have waited the few extra days until the in store event to actually release her. They just did the same thing with this berry event on June 2nd. I've already seen pictures of so many new items on instagram that it doesn't seem like the event is that special
Im wanting the new Girl of The year i collect them so I'm excited and I've saved my birthday money to get her

@@americangirlfilms I'm going to the doctor tomorrow afternoon so I'm hopping to get an American Girl gift card at Walgreens and put my money on it and call American Girl and ordering her that way. So yes definitely will be getting her.

I think it spoiled the New Year with the early launch. Perhaps the 2023 GOTY did not sell well? I have a Truely Me with the same mold and I like her hair better so I did not buy 2023 GOTY this year. I have to be honest, she did not inspire me. Perhaps it was the accessories and outfits or all the other releases at the same time including newer face paint, hair coloring, and face molds. Last 2 years has seen a lot of change.
I think a lot of the inspiration with Kavi was lost when we didn’t receive any new items, besides a collab, and they didn’t branch into her story at all. The mini series’ issues at hand were a test, and a performance that was imperative to her passing the test.
Kavi is an amazing doll and all of her items imo were fantastic, but AG didn’t seem to try with her either. It was missing a lot of character and imagination on their behalf.

I forgot which video you had where you said you lost the crown on the Silver doll, did you call the store? I bet someone would turn it in. And also call the mall security and see if someone found it in the parking lot. Does not hurt to try.
